It also has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, and a high-resolution LED-backlit 13.3" widescreen 2560x1600 (227 ppi) "Retina" display in a case that weighs just less than 3.5 pounds (1.57 kg). It does not have an internal optical drive. Connectivity includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, two "Thunderbolt 2" ports, an HDMI port, an audio in/out port, and an SDXC card slot. In addition, this model has a backlit keyboard, a "no button" glass "inertial" multi-touch trackpad, a "MagSafe 2" power adapter, and an internal, sealed battery that provides an Apple estimated 9 hours of battery life.

I was a bit sceptical at first. Been using the Macbook for about a week now. The MacBook Pro Retina was bought to work on highpointtravel.bz. It has about a third of the charge cycle left which was pretty amazing, to get a year of use of the battery at 80%+. They were no scratches or marks whatsoever, I thought it was brand new. It came with macOS Catalina installed, I upgraded right away, and it runs BigSur without any problems. I think the Charger is original, it looks a bit worn (8/10) but that is ok. The keyboard seems to be Chinese but no problem, it functions like any other keyboard. New to MacBook. Took the chance on a affordable MacBook Pro (late 2013 model). Once it was set up, and updated to the most current compatible version of iOS, WOW. I’d put this 8 year old MacBook up against a brand new laptop. Came we’ll packaged, in a timely manor, and it didn’t have a scratch on it! We bought our laptop in may and then 4 months into it to stop working. Thankfully we bought the Asurion warranty but to our dismay, they couldn't even fix the laptop. I can't help but wonder if they knew this was a bad product because when we sent them an email they told us it was too late to do anything about it. I just feel like for the money I spent they should be more accomodating. I'm totally not happy because this was a gift for our son to use for college and he has not used it once. ... show more

After reading some negative reviews about refurbished computers on Amazon, I kept my expectations low. This unit however arrived in exceptionally good condition and worked flawlessly. It actually had very few minor scratches which one had to look for to notice. Outstanding job by the refurbisher.

90%, 80%, 70%, 50% Battery life. I would have accepted any of that. But my average battery life is about 20%. For what I use it for, which is video meetings, I don't mind keeping it plugged in. And it came with a different OS which I had to go to lengths to change.
