The MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.7 15-Inch (Early 2013 Retina Display) features a 22 nm "Ivy Bridge" 2.7 GHz Intel "Core i7" processor (3740QM), with four independent processor "cores" on a single silicon chip, a 6 MB shared level 3 cache, 16 GB of onboard 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (which cannot be upgraded), 512 GB of flash storage, dual graphics processors -- a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory and an "integrated" Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics processor that shares system memory, an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, and a high-resolution LED-backlit 15.4" widescreen 2880x1800 (220 ppi) "retina" display with a thin, sleek case design that weighs a bit less than 4.5 pounds (2.02 kg). It does not have an internal optical drive. Connectivity includes 3-stream AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, two "Thunderbolt" ports, an HDMI port, an audio in/out port, and an SDXC card slot. It does not have Gigabit Ethernet or Firewire "800," although adapters are available at extra cost. In addition, this model has a backlit keyboard, a "no button" glass "inertial" multi-touch trackpad, a "MagSafe 2" power adapter, and an internal, and glued battery that provides an Apple estimated 7 hours of battery life.

I was originally quite hesitant to purchase a refurbished MacBook Pro online. But with Amazon’s 90 days warranty and DoubleDay’s 30-day free replacement guarantee and affordable price tag, I figured I have very little to risk. Upon receipt of device which was delivered promptly and packaged really well, I was pleasantly surprised that its physical condition is nearly new and that any distinguishable blemish are microscopic in nature. The true test, of course, is will it perform like a brand new new MacBook Pro with 2.7 ghz, quad i7 processor, 16 GB memory, 512 GB SSD and 15” Retina display? I am happy to report that it’s blazing fast, no hiccups and runs like a champ. I even waited a while to write this review so I can use the device thoroughly with my daily tasks and even try to run down its battery just to make sure the battery charge will hold...... and it did with a lot a charge to spare. The device came with a brand new power unit and I’m almost certain that the battery was replaced with a new one. Bravo to DoubleDex and Amazon..... I am Amazed! ... show more

This is my 2nd try with their 15" Mac Book Pro as the first order they sent was not in any condition as the rubber cushion seal around the screen was peeling apart with many sections missing. UPDATE 2 WEEKS LATER: They were able to refund my 1st order. After that I decided to give them another chance and I love my 2nd order! Looks "Like New" and is working great! The company even provided my new laptop a thin layer protection around the screen and exterior! Thank you! ... show more

    • Battery Life
I just set up my computer today and it was fully charged, within 15 mins of my setting up new laptop. it died and I had to plug charger. after the set up, I noticed the service battery icon next to battery, the icon states it needs a replacement. I just bought this computer how is it that it needs a new battery already. I literally opened it and set up today. I would like to send it back because this is not a good product to sell to a client and I would like to know the instruction on how to send back and get my full refund. unless you are willing to send another same type computer which does not have an issue ... show more

Unit in good condition as advertised, battery doesn't hold a charge though. Contacted seller but they said they no longer do repairs, did offer refund. Good customer service, product was not so good.

    • Excellent condition, wrong operating system
This laptop arrived looking essentially brand-new, but I ordered a laptop running High Sierra, which is what the listing claimed was installed on this machine. Lo and behold, when I turned on the laptop, it was running Catalina, and for my purposes, a 64-bit OS is useless. I had to spend an extra $100 to get the OS removed and restore the software I needed. Other than that irritating and expensive hassle, I'm very pleased with the machine itself. I was worried about buying a used laptop but since my 15 inch from 2011 died again and it had the same logic board problem I wasn’t about to spend another 500.00 fixing it! I hesitantly ordered this only cause i knew I could return it on Amazon. It came packed super well. There are no blemishes, scratches or anything. LOOKS LIKE IT’S RIGHT OUT OF A BRAND NEW BOX. I’m not saying you’ll have a perfect machine but try these guys... I LOVE THIS 15IN RETINA DISPLAY.... AT A GREAT PRICE TOO!!! ... show more

Had to replace a 17 inch MacBook due to battery issues. bought this refurbished. Arrived quickly. Appears flawless except for a weird, worm-squiggle looking thing that I notice with white backgrounds (ironically mostly on amazon). It is quick, easy to use and just beautiful. Good seller- I know that’s a little beside the point here.....anyway, had it for about 2 months and very happy with it. ... show more

    • Battery Issues and HDMI issues
This computer was ordered for me by my work. Over all the computer came in great shape. However my biggest disappointment is that the batter that came with this so called fully refurbished MacBook is in terrible shape and already is telling me "It needs to be serviced" after a little over 2 months of having in. I cannot use this computer without it being pulled in at all times. This computer was also delivered to me with a HDMI plug in that does not work. I didn't realize it until after my 30 days return period when I finally needed to use this. It is unfortunate that they claim to have these computers fully refurbished but I am now having to take it to the Apple Store to get these issues fixed. I would suggest to any buyers that you fully check everything out within your 30 day return period so you know you got a fully running system without any issues. ... show more
