At first, I received a unit with minor screen issues, but the seller quickly replaced it with one in excellent condition. I'm genuinely impressed—it's hard to believe this is a 2018 model! The battery is in normal health and holds a charge for a long time. The laptop has no noticeable scratches or dents, just an extremely tiny mark that's barely visible. The only minor flaw is that some keyboard letters (like 'A', 'S', 'E', etc.) are slightly faded, but all keys function perfectly.     • Battery needed replacement, Not worth the purchase.

Product arrived with minimal scratches/ scrapes. Has a scratch on the front part and the "A" key has popped out of place. When I plugged it in and started using it it all went smoothly until I saw the battery icon had a "X" on it. It didn't retain charge without being directly hooked to a power source. I just came back from the Apple store where the employee helped assess the problem which obviously it was that the battery needed replacement. He put in a work order for a replacement but said it might not be possible to get the part due to how old the battery is (2018 model). It'd would have cost another almost $300 if they can even get the part. I'm so disappointed since I paid for the refurbished laptop in great condition yet its core isn't functional. Why even sell it in the first place? I'd skip the purchase, y'all. Now I have to see if I can return it and get my money back so I can just save up a few more hundred for a new laptop from the apple store where I know it'll be functional and have apple warranty. ... show more

I was a bit hesitant about buying a refurbished MacBook Pro, but I’m thrilled I did! The laptop arrived in pretty great condition—honestly, I wouldn’t have guessed it wasn’t brand new. It only has a couple of minor scratched on the top, but besides that, it has no visible scratches on the screen itself, and runs like a dream. The performance is incredibly smooth, and the battery life is fantastic—it easily lasts me through a full day or two of work without needing a charge. I also love that it came with an official Apple charger (which was a pleasant surprise since I’ve heard of other customers receiving third-party ones). The features themselves are advanced, making everything from multitasking to video editing a breeze. I feel like I got an amazing deal for a high-end product. This MacBook Pro was purchased for a DJ Rig that runs the serato and rekord box software. It came the very next day in excellent condition. I will say the packaging was not ideal, the box it was enclosed in did not have sufficient air wrap. Other than that we love it. It is currently loaded with over 60,000 songs and we're all analyzed very quickly. No complaints and we will be purchasing a few more in the near future 😊 ... show more

The item was perfect, except the Touch Bar kept flickering. The company is issuing me a replacement MacBook. They honor their warranty as promised. That was the only issue I had. Other than that, the MacBook was very well refurbished and it had the latest updates on it. I would still recommend this company’s products and this MacBook. I love my new MacBook Pro. Coming from a lifelong Windows guy, that’s saying something. I’ve been a Windows tech/support person (retired) for over 25 years. Over that time, I’ve had very little interaction with the Mac OS. I’ve known for years that the Mac OS is a better, more secure and more robust OS, but that didn’t mean I wanted a Mac. Well, that recently changed. I took on a part time job doing support for a Linux NAS server, and an office full of Macs. To support the Mac users, I needed to fully understand the Mac OS. This brings us here. TO THE POINT Do not listen to the negative reviews for these “Renewed” MacBook Pros. My MacBook Pro arrived in perfect condition. Everything checked out like a brand new computer. It did have 50 charges on the battery, so someone did use the computer, and for some time. You could not tell by looking at the unit. I will also add that these computers are supposed to come with a fresh OS install. Mine did have residue from the previous owner, so I’m guessing they don’t always give you a clean install of the OS. That being said, if you get a Mac that doesn’t meet your expectation’s, just send it back. My plan was to give it a try. If after three attempts, I didn’t get a “good” one, I would give up. I didn’t need to do that. I was very happy with the first one I received. You can’t beat the price! To buyers coming from a Windows OS to the Mac OS. When I ordered my new Mac, a friend of mine (who has been a Mac tech longer than most people reading this right now have been alive) told me “don’t bring your Windows mind to the Mac”. This is so true. Don’t start by loading up your new Mac with Microsoft apps etc. Try Apple Pages, or LibreOffice (free download). Give the Mac way a chance. Forget about right click. Yeah, Mac has the Control click to show the context menu, but you will not see the Windows type options for creating a new document etc. Instead, open the app, create your document and then save it. It’s just a different way of doing things, but give it a chance before complaining about the way the Mac OS does it. That’s all. Enjoy your new Mac and have some fun… ... show more
