Let me first say that the MacBook Pro 2019 came in pretty good condition, except for a couple of unnoticeable scratches on the side. Jumped right in, plugged up got started with the setup …everything went smoothly. Beautiful bright clear screen as expected. The next day I hopped on but the laptop did not turn on.. thought that was a little strange. Anyhow, I plugged it up and back in I went. I checked the battery life and it displayed 40% but still didn’t understand why I couldn’t use without the charger. I took another look and read the additional information “Battery not charged service required”. You got to be kidding me. I immediately called Amazon spoke to customer service (very helpful) and they were not able to get a replacement because the sale price had changed. I was referred over to Apple support who confirmed “No warranty”. They were able to take a closer look at the laptop and found that the MacBook battery was considered dead. I had the option to purchase a new battery for at least $249 which I kindly declined. Apple support was great and assisted me in removing all of my information from the Laptop as I have opt to return this device! Yes, I know it was a refurbished item. However, I refuse for the “Amazon seller” to receive profit for an item that came without a decent battery. Unfortunately for me I can’t trust to repurchase or take a chance on this seller. I will just have to wait and pay a little more for the peace of mind. Very disappointed. ... show more

The laptop’s overall functionality works great. It does tend to overheat every now and then the battery holds charge. Wasn’t anything wrong with the screen all the keys worked. There was a small dent on the back that I was able to push out I mean, other than the dent this is actually perfect.

It is really good! it’s everything i needed all in one place! I work at a school but i also help take care of my mom so i need to be able to see my text messages if she texts or anything so it definitely helps with that! it was easy and the keyboard is perfect. There were a few keys that looked like they had been touched up but it’s okay! i got a $900 macbook for $300 can’t complain! My charger didn’t work though i had to use my ipad’s charger. other than that… Perf!! ... show more

I was a little skeptical at first bc its refurbished and the price was on the low end.. however, the computer came in and looks brand new. Ive been using it for a couple days and the battery life is amazing. Everything works as it should. The charger is aftermarket (not apple) but no complaints there it works just as great. The shipping was super fast, received it one day after it shipped out. Processing took two days. My only complaint which isn’t really a complaint was that it came in a little dusty, my guess is from the way it was packaged. It Doesn't come with bubble wrap to protect it during shipping but it didn’t hurt the computer at all. No scratches no dents. If you're thinking about ordering one from this brand take the risk! DO NOT be discouraged by the bad reviews. In my opinion it’s worth it. They have quality MacBooks! ... show more

I am giving it one star because it did initially work when the product was delivered in July of 2024. Within two months the screen turned black. My daughter was using the product for college and she was away in another state. We did purchase the Asurion protection plan but my daughter was unsure how to use it correctly and as I was not there to help her so she waited another month and a half to get it fixed when she came home for break. During that time the MacBook was unusable. In December I sent the item away to be fixed. The item was returned to her a couple of weeks later at her university. That was the second week of January 2025. She came home for spring break in March and while she was home the screen began to turn black again. She also informed me that the laptop was running very hot. I again contacted Asurion but at this time I was just looking for a refund of my $429. I was told that an item had to have the same defect 4 times because I could seek a refund. I explained that my daughter had major time constraints with this instance and waiting 2/3 weeks for the item to be fixed was not an option. We took it to a nearby repair shop that is sponsored by Asurion where we were given an estimate of $471 which is more than I paid for the product. I was told that I could pay to have it repaired and then be reimbursed but aside from not living that option the screen would take a week to come in and then a few days after that to be fixed. I should also state that the estimate also included fixing the overheating problem. I reached out to Amazon but because it was more than 90 days removed from the purchase they couldn’t do anything for me. Originally, I did have a customer service representative tell me I should not worry that I would be getting a refund but the next day I received an email stating that my claim had been denied. I also reached out to the third party seller and they never responded to my message. I did try Asurion one more time with a copy of the estimate trying to please my case that I just want a refund since the original payment is less than the cost of the repair. This whole process has eaten up hours over several days of speaking with countless representatives. I felt like there was no one that truly understood my problem and how I only wanted to be made whole with this defective product. ... show more
