Description

Retina Display. Multimillion-pixel view. When you pack so many pixels into a display — over 4 million on the 13-inch model - the results are positively stunning. The pixel density is so high, your eyes can't discern individual pixels. Images take on a new level of realism. A spectacular 2560-by-1600 resolution on the 13-inch MacBook Pro let you see more of your high-resolution images with pixel-for-pixel accuracy. And text is so sharp, you'll feel like you're reading email, web pages, and documents on a printed page. The Retina display reduces glare while maintaining incredible color and quality. Its high contrast ratio results in blacker blacks and whiter whites. And everything in between is rich and vibrant. IPS technology gives you a wide, 178-degree view of everything on the screen, so you'll see the difference at practically any angle. And you're going to love what you see. The Force Touch trackpad. Press a little deeper, do a lot more. With Multi-Touch in OS X, you can use realistic gestures like swiping or pinching to switch between apps, navigate your content, and get the most out of your desktop space. The new Force Touch trackpad on the 13-inch model takes all the capabilities of Multi-Touch and adds force sensors that detect subtle differences in the amount of downward pressure you apply. This lets you have a deeper connection to your content, bringing more functionality right to your fingertip. It also introduces haptic feedback to MacBook Pro — allowing you not just to see what's happening on the screen, but to feel it. High-performance graphics. A flawless onscreen performance. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display features Intel Iris Graphics 6100 to handle both everyday tasks and graphics-intensive creative apps. Play games with amazing detail. Even connect an external display or two. It's just another way this 13-inch MacBook Pro is small on size but big on performance.

  • Limited by Mac OS Obsilesence, But Great All The Same
Capacity: i5 - 8GB Style: 512GB
It came free with a shell in a nice black color, it boots and runs well and has a decent battery life. I actually like that it's limited in what it can run, but that's just me, because it is mostly for writing and working. I have found ways to install older Mac writing and presentation software for my job. The highest priority was that it can open and run the latest version of QLab, which it does effortlessly. It also runs a few other theatrical programs I need to. Pros: Works well, good battery life, and boots easily Distraction free work environment, and light weight to take anywhere HDMI port installed rather than needing connection for HDMI USB Hubs all work as intended. Great inexpensive way to get a Mac for exclusive software like QLab Cons: The OS is kneecapped by apple, by design, and there's not really a work around. Charging cable is super short A little slow running anything, largely due to age Overall, I highly enjoy my silly little laptop. It's kind of charming and goofy, and a good introduction to Apple for a PC user. After all, if I mess it up, I just wipe it and start again. Runs the basic software I need without much extra. Travels well, and provides me a 2 computer setup for when I need to run lights and sound for an event. I really am glad these renewed options exist for purchase. However, don't think it will run everything under the sun, it won't, but if you know that going in... It'll be just fine, and perfectly serviceable. ... show more

  • Laptop was in worse condition than described.
Capacity: i5 - 8GB Style: 512GB
I knew when buying a renewed laptop it was going to have it's minor flaws. As amazon states in the description, "excellent condition" is as "Excellent (Screen: no scratches. Body: no signs of cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) will be visible when the product is held 12 inches away)." and "Fully Functional (exceeds 80% of original battery life, generic or OEM accessories and packaging provided)." This laptop came filthy with hair, dust, and other junk within the keyboard and on the screen. The charger also came in the same condition with noticeable stains on it as if it was never cleaned. Furthermore, the keyboard was making weird clicking noises when pressing down some of the keys (ex. the arrow keys, alt, or space bar). The top right corner of the keyboard cover was also warped as if some sort of liquid had been spilled on the laptop, also somewhat consistent with the key board noises. Finally the screen had a large 6-7 inch scratch noticeable from well over 12 inches away, as well as additional scratches near it as if a cat had walked across the screen a time or two. Overall the macbook and its physical parts were okay and working good, but the cosmetic condition was no where near as described. The laptop was returned for a refund. ... show more

  • Took a chance, and I'm so happy! Love it!
Capacity: i5 - 8GB Style: 256GB
Received my Macbook Pro a day early than expected. I wanted to wait to write a review so I could make sure that it worked well. My old job gave me a 2020 Macbook air and I loved working on it. I did not want to spend that much money, so I researched at found out that a lot of people who do a lot of creative stuff online like the 2015 Macbook pro, and I see why! - Keyboard is awesome. Lights up. - Battery Life isn't bad, having that I had an old 2011 HP laptop that I used for my undergrad and its shot. - Has all outlets you need to upload media (New versions require you to buy an extension to use USB, HDMI and does not have a headphone jack, not that I'm going to use it anyways) - This laptop does NOT have an outlet for a CD or DVD. - This laptop does NOT come with Windows, Adobe, or anything. Just basic apps from Apple. - The screen is just as bright and beautiful as the 2020 Macbook Air that I used for work. - Doesn't over heat. Haven't had any issues since receiving it. The laptop did have some small marks on it, but it looks like it'll come off with a Clorox wipe. **I did see a few people have issues with having their keyboard cover ruining the laptop screen, so I will be getting a screen protector, keyboard cover and a case for my laptop just so I won't ruin it. Great laptop for school and work. ... show more

  • Love this!
Capacity: i5 - 8GB Style: 256GB
It’s still working, even though it’s from 2015. It gets the job done, and it wasn’t expense when I got it! Also, the other laptop that I had before this broke in the most unexpected way possible and also made me realize that Amazon was way more reliable than Temu was. (Judge me all you want, I don’t use Temu anymore after that.) I got this MacBook literally almost in the middle of my freshman year of the spring semester. ... show more

I would recommend buying , even tho the reviews could be deceiving. It’s really a good MacBook even tho it’s from 2015 it moves fast and I’ve had it for a week.

  • Terrible Investment - Didn't Last 2 Years
Capacity: i5 - 8GB Style: 512GB
Purchased this renewed MacBook expecting a good deal, but it was a huge mistake. It worked fine for about 6 months, then the battery life tanked, and the screen started flickering and eventually went black. Less than two years in, it completely stopped turning on. Since it’s a renewed model, customer support was no help, and I’m left with a useless laptop. I took it to the Apple Store for diagnostics and they told me it cost $400 to be repaired!! Definitely not worth the money—would not recommend! ... show more

  • At least it works.
Capacity: i5 - 16GB Style: 512GB
Laptop was filthy, had to clean it up. Battery was dead, which was fine. Battery only has 50% capacity, so will have to replace. Has some weird film on it, have yet to remove it. Screen is not cracked or scratched. Ditched MacOS and installed KDE Neon, runs like a dream! 3 stars due to a crappy battery and not cleaned. ... show more
