This review is more about the service and help I received during the ordering process from the seller - SourcePlus - than the MacBook Air itself, though I will cover that too. In short, was very happy with my purchase with them. Finding exceptional value has always been important to me so when looking for a pre-owned MacBook Air I shopped eBay (private sellers), ShopGoodwill.com, Craigslist, Googled the internet, and, lastly, Amazon. To my surprise the dedicated resellers I found on eBay and Amazon were just as cheap, if not cheaper than private sellers and other auction sites. After weighing my options I thought it best to stick with the dedicated electronics reseller. My thinking was that, at least, they have staff who check the machine thoroughly and grade it to establish a price. During my search many resellers had very similar pricing for the specs I was looking for - at least a 2015 MacBook Air, i5 processor, with 256 GB, and 8 GB of RAM - between $250 - $400. Unfortunately, the descriptions provided by the sellers were similar and the photos often were stock photos of a very nice, clean, unscuffed MacBook Air. So, in that regard, my expectations for an unscuffed, undented, fully-functioning laptop was not very high. I eventually went with the seller SourcePlus and placed my order. However, I immediately cancelled the order when I could NOT ship the laptop to an Amazon Locker, which I thought was necessary for fear of having my purchase stolen. (NOTE: I PRESUMED that the delivery was going to be delivered by Amazon's in-house delivery service and, unfortunately, we've had several of our deliveries delivered to other addresses, and occasions where specific instructions, like, "put behind the flower in our front porch", is not followed. Instead, the package gets left out in front where everyone can see that we have an Amazon delivery.) I tried a second time to place my order and ship to an Amazon Locker, thinking I may have made an error, but again wouldn't let me (it was a size issue). I stopped and backed out of the order process when this happened. This is when I used the 'Contact Seller' button to contact the seller and explain what I wanted to do with the shipment, but that the order process wouldn't allow me. Within a day I received an email response from someone (no name was signed on the communication) who stated that 1) the delivery was being made by FedEx, and 2) I could redirect the order through the FedEx app to one of the FedEx locations for pickup. This exchange of information gave me the confidence to place the order, which I did. In the end I didn't even have to redirect the package to a FedEx location because I knew the exact delivery date and approximate time window. I met the FedEx courier at the door and received my MacBook Air. Lastly, the condition of the MacBook Air was so much better than what I could have imagined. No visible surface scratches, no dings and dents, the TouchPad worked flawlessly, minimal battery degradation, as well as all the other basic functions. For a 7 year-old, pre-owned laptop, I was damn happy. It also - to my surprise - included a coveted 45 watt charger. The product description didn't specify it came with one so it was welcome to have. Finally, though a very small detail, the laptop was packaged in a designed-specific, reusable, heavy-corrugate shipping carton that not only provided protection during transit but wasted no unnecessary marketing material or plastics. I've ordered several of these Macbook Airs (reconditioned). First, this is a 2015 computer. My expectations are for a used computer. This is the best one so far. It is spotless. Whoever did the cleaning did an excellent job. Cosmetically, this Macbook is nearly perfect. I wiped a smudge off of the cover with my finger. The keyboard is perfect, the touchpad is perfect, and the screen is perfect. Now for the business end...the operation. The battery life is excellent. Mine came loaded with MacOS Monterey. It's 12/30/2022. That is a huge time saver for me, since I live in a VERY rural area, with no broadband other than cell phone hotspots. Basically, this feels like a 2015 computer in 2015. Whoever owned it first took very good care of it. As I said, I've ordered these before, and I'd gladly order one again. The last one, I gave to my daughter, when I couldn't recover her 11.6" Macbook Air. I buy these used models, because I'm hard on my computers. I use them backpacking, making bushcraft and canoeing videos, and other outdoorsy tasks. So, if it dies, I understand! But, I haven't had one of these die yet. ... show more

For the price, this 9 year old MacBook meets my basic needs. I wanted something to check my emails and watch YouTube videos, and even though its a pretty old model there are barely any scratches on the laptop and its running the latest software (Big Sur). When its not connected to an outlet the battery will last me a few hours, I will probably try to replace it with a new battery later one. The video quality and speakers are decent, and the laptop automatically connects with my newer AirPods without a problem. Im only giving a 4-star review because I ordered a laptop with 8gb of ram and received one with 4gb, but there is no significant lag so I'll probably keep this one until it stops working. ... show more

I ordered 2 laptops at the same time. They arrived in great shape but did not come with chargers after it stated it would. This was resolved pretty quickly after getting in contact with the seller who expedited them to me. Awesome product none the less
