I have an Apple ID and password but nothing could persuade this device to sync with the iTunes music library on my computer. Also tried a fresh install of AppleMusic. All this device did was put me through Password Hell and then sit there doing nothing. No iPod icon or button ever showed up on the screen. There is no way to sync the music. Worst Apple device I've ever tried. I've returned it.

the only difference from my older iPod (when it was new), it takes a bit longer to recharge and hesitates a bit before it starts to play or continue to the next chapter of an audiobook but, looks new, performs perfectly so far and I think the sound is superior to my 6th gen. I received an upgraded version, no complaint there.. I think for the price the guarantee could be longer than 90 days.., but other reviews were so good it was worth the risk I've been looking at players for a year... not seeing anything that works as well as iPods for my use... playlists for exercise, dance, audiobooks and hands (eyes) free study... making a recording for materiel I need to memorize while doing other things yes, multi tasking will be the end of western civilization right now, listening to Na' auao while doing my taxes... I don't use bluetooth, I don't care if I can't download pay for play apps, it doesn't need a camera or to be able to start my car from miles away... it would be nice if it would do my tax paperwork... I wanted to be able to make playlists and listen audiobooks... on a dependable device, something that even the most expensive DAPs seem to fail at, at too high of a rate to make it worth buying and this, does that perfectly I wish I could send my sixth gen in to be rebuilt but, might be cheaper to just purchase another one of these burning sage hoping apple execs realize, we don't all want to carry a $1,500 brick around to listen to music... iPod sales dropped when apple duplicated iPhone features on it and doubled the price I've read months of reviews (mostly paid advertising) and message boards of people looking for a replacement for their iPod... I wonder if they didn't understand that we were not buying them every year, because...they continued to work, each of mine lasted at least five years and I play them daily, I use them for study... the next company who comes up with an iPod replacement, will make a fortune I suggested it to LG who are said to have the best sound in smartphone land... in the mean time thank you amazon-renewed... you delivered!!!

Battery life is poor, needs charging every night. But for the Great Low Price, it's manageable. Everything else works fine. Overall, I'm happy with my refurbished iPod.

The order was for a 5th generation iPod Touch but received a 6th generation, no complaints there. There’s minor scratching and after 20mins of screen time, the battery is draining. This is extremely disappointing considering how the Amazon renewed notice at the top bragging about quality. The only and the biggest issue making me consider a return is the issue with the battery, I don’t think it could stream more than 1 hours of music. Everything is as expected, just not the battery so pretty disappointing as during the renewal, one would assume the battery would be replaced.

I purchased this iPod some time ago for the gym. Pros: Easy to connect to the phone and gain access to my music. The battery life has been perfect as I need to charge it approximately 1-2 times a week (depending on use). I am able to connect the device to my wireless headphones. Cons: I have to hold the off/on button down for a few seconds for it to turn off or on. This is not a major problem but the button has be held a little longer than normal. Yes, I would recommend.

Battery crapped out within three months of purchasing the device, now the iTouch is stuck on a "boot loop" and can't fully turn on even when plugged it to a charger. Looked into purchasing the replacement battery for $30 (including shipping), but the tear down of the device requires tools that I don't have and won't be investing in. So essentially this relatively brand new iTouch has become a paperweight. Would not recommend buying this model of iTouch and specifically not from these specific merchants.
