I wanted a bigger ipod and I thought I had read of a 256 gig pod released and I found it here. Once I registered it (which took a little bit of time with Apple), it works great. It uploads very quickly and the battery life is great, unlike my last ipod. I'm old school so I doubt I'll never really use my phone but so much to listen to music. It's still nice to have a separate device to play my music. I will never understand however why ipods are still so expensive when they were taken off the market. It makes no sense. This refurbished iPod (7th gen) is almost worthless because it has a bad battery. According to Apple, a new one should have a battery life of about 40 hours, but this refurbished one will play audio files for about 3 hours before going dead. If I play nothing at all, the battery is dead within 3 days of being fully charged. When I charge it, the unit gets so hot I can barely touch it. For close to $300, I was expecting something that worked almost like new, but this product is terrible. ... show more

I got the iPod Touch and was able to download all of my music...was very surprised that it looked brand new and works fine..., it holds a charge, but like most electronics, runs down. But for me it suits the purpose that I needed, especially when it comes to Music! I love the iPod Touch. I love its simple design and features, which include taking photos, playing music, watching videos and surfing the web, as well as all the downloadable apps available for it. Definitely one of Apple’s finest moments in engineering the design.

    • iPod was still locked by previous owner
This is really a review of the Amazon Renewed Store and not the iPod Touch. I assumed that when a product like an iPhone or iPod says "renewed" it means that it has been factory reset and cleared. This was not the case with this iPod Touch. When I turned the iPod on it still had the previous owner's aps on it. I tried doing a factory reset but after a couple of hours it was still locked and linked with the previous owner's Apple ID. Very disappointed with the Amazon Renewed Store. ... show more
