We played the classic “family shuffle” of iPhones when someone gets a new phone. The iPhone XS Max became the hand-me-down to a member who still had an iPhone X. In any case (pun intended), this product made the phone feel like a completely new one. Great design and precision engineering, there’s great protection at every edge and corner. We chose the green color which is really fun and gives the phone a nice pop. It replaced a Spigen case that was on before, and do have to say this Apple case feels like a more premium product.

Hasn’t peeled at the corners like some silicone cases tend to do. It also hasn’t gotten those weird discolored spots from handling your phone frequently. No stains, chips, and easy to disinfect. Color has held up and hasn’t faded. Can’t say much on protection because I don’t drop my phone often, but the hard interior layer seems sturdy without being overly bulky.

About the one I just purchased: I love how these look and feel. The first week or so the feeling is rather odd, it feels "dry", like if instead of being made of rubber it was made of paper and it takes some of the moisture out of your hand. But this "dry" layer soon starts to fade and it starts feeling super rubbery, which I love because it always stays in place in your hand and it's a texture I really dig. Besides, the fit is perfect, at least in this one I just ordered and the previous one I had. Most of the color options are nice in my opinion, I got the Blue Horizon one simply because it was much cheaper at the time and it looked decent. Keep in mind that colors in photos can be deceiving, it's best to watch a video of someone holding and reviewing the case so that you can compare the color of the case to its surroundings and get a better picture of how it actually looks. ------------------------------- About the one that I'm replacing: It's an original Apple case but the color was Black. It got completely wasted after 3 years (as can be seen in the picture). The case was in perfect shape for the first 2 years and started deteriorating really fast after that. Please be aware that the phone never fell to the ground and I always took good care of if, but the rubber starts to get dry and peel off on its own after about 2 years and I think there's nothing that can be done to avoid this. However, it never lost its grip on the phone, the fit was and is still to this day perfect and the texture, where the rubber didn't peel, still feels super nice to the touch.
