The build quality and leather are pretty solid. The fit and finish are excellent. I like the texture and I'm confident the folio will age gracefully. I own the purple and saddle brown regular leather iPhone X cases. In regards to the screen turning off and on as the folio cover slides around as some have complained about in regards to battery life, it appears that issue was fixed. I slid the cover top to bottom as much as it would extend and the screen did not activate. I'm on the minimalist side and prefer to cary only the essentials. So it's nice just carrying my main two IDs, credit card and some cash within a well-fitted folio without adding any significant bulk. I'm a full time student, husband, veteran and father of three and this folio fits my lifestyle perfect fine. It's great only having to look for the folio and car key when I have to make a quick trip out of the house. Holding the phone in one hand with the folio back hasn't been an issue and is quite comfortable. Same goes for folding the folio cover behind to access email, browser, etc.. Taking Pictures is little bit inconvenient, but by no means anywhere near a deal-breaker as the inconvenience is very subtle. I just slide the cover slightly out of the way... no big deal, but is an extra step.

I love that it's leather! Most of all I chose this case because it does NOT have a crease to prop the phone. Just a solid minimal wallet style phone case. Will purchase the blue one for my other iPhone X

Like it! Beautiful, elegant and practical. You can easily take photos with just one hand, just press and hold the folio top with you fingers and "voilà" photos and videos single handed! This is a big advantage from other folio cases with hard, rigid tops, which force you to use both hands when taking photos. This is the MAIN reason why I bought this case. The case protects 3 sides; top, left and right side, in addition to both bottom corners of the iPhone. The folio top protects the display of the phone from hits to the screen when closed, also you can put a card or two and a few $20's on the provided slots. In addition, the folio turn on or off the iPhone when opening or closing it, this is very cool and works like magic. Furthermore, the case is very slim and does not add bulkines to the phone, like many other folio cases do and it's very light too, you won't feel much difference between the iPhone with or without this case. It is a delicate case, so you have to take care of it. Mine has some small scratches already (as you can see in the photos), but that's part of choosing a leather case, it tells yours story! With time the case will age they way you use it giving it a unique and personal look. I recommend to use a leather protector/moisturizer in order to extend the lifetime of the leather and protect it from sweat, water, food and other things that could stain it. I use the Mohawk Leather Protector M850-10064. I would have loved to give this case 5 stars, but there are some shortcomings. There is a large opening at the bottom of the case, this expose almost the whole bottom of the iPhone which could lead to scratches, dents and even a serious hit to this area, that could crack the screen, this could be a deal breaker for some people. In addition the case does not have a magnetic closing, so the case open easily while handling it or when is not intended. Finally, the cost of this case is really high. There lots of other leather folio cases here on Amazon at a fraction of the Apple Leather Folio price.

There is nothing quite like Official Apple gear. This case is elegant and functional. I store a drivers license and 3 credit cards and a couple bills comfortably without adding a ton of bulk. When flipped open the leather case does block the camera but it is flexible enough to slip laterally out of the way without being difficult to do. After using the case for a couple weeks, doing this to take pictures becomes second nature. I really enjoy flipping the case open and having the screen automatically come on and unlocking with FaceID and then closing when I close it. The process is very well designed. I was worried about a case like this adding too much bulk or inhibiting my use of the iPhone X. This is the first time I've ever used a Folio-style case on an iPhone. I'm pleasantly surprised at the experience and think I will be sticking with this case.
