First off, I never write reviews, but after my recent experiences I thought this might help some others. Needed to replace an aging IPhone which was still working great, but a lot of apps needing newer IOS. So, not looking for the lastest/greatest, just a good update. Decided IPh 14+ was a good option. Here were my first 3 strikes : 1) I purchased an “Excellent” OPEN BOX phone from Best Buy. It came in a box sealed with Geek Squad tape. When opened, the phone had tons of fingerprints all over it, front and back; not a great first impression. After going through the startup process I was greeted with a screen that informed me that the phone had remote management software installed on it. Basically unusable. 2) I returned it and they replaced it with another “Excellent” OPEN BOX. Same thing – both phones had been previously owned by some company (now out of business) who had loaded remote management software on the phones. So… these are expensive, unusable bricks, and shame on BB/Geek Squad for selling these phones to the public. 3) After that experience I decided to give Amazon a try and bought a phone supplied by WOOT, as I have had good experiences with other Woot purchases. The phone arrived in a beat up generic box with the inside packaging worse than the outside. On the positive side, the phone was cosmetically very good with no obvious scratches, etc. So, everything looked good until I checked the battery health. 81%. NOT GOOD. Yes, it meets the described spec of >80% for their “Excellent” condition, but will going to be into the Apple service condition in a couple of weeks. Returned to Amazon/Woot and waiting for refund. After reading a ton of reviews I decided to give it one more shot and get a “Premium” condition directly from Amazon.com. Most of the reviews of these phones were much better than all of the other vendors. They are definitely more expensive but come with a 365 day warranty vs 90 day and spec at >90% battery life. Phone arrived today. It was VERY nicely packaged in a SEALED shrink wrapped professional looking box. Opened the box and found a phone with what appeared to be the original Apple protective film still in place on the front and back. Battery was dead so after a quick charge I was able to check battery health…… 100% and 0 charge cycles. Basically this is a brand NEW, NEVER USED phone. I can’t say how impressed I was after three bad experiences. I saved a couple $hundred compared to BB or Apple and got a brand new phone ….. It’s all about the journey !!!

This was said to be Excellent (New) although refurbished I knew it wouldn’t be a “new” phone. What I didn’t like is that described and rated as it was, the battery health should have been at least over 80%. It was only 76%. Guess I will be replacing the battery sooner than expected. Other than that, its condition is excellent in my opinion. No dents or scratches. Faint visual where mag ring was on back but looks like it might polish off. If not, it’s not that visible. The larger size of the plus makes it better on my eyes and large arthritic hands. All in all, a good replacement for my old Xs iphone. I would recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (So far) I was pretty wary at first about buying this refurbished iPhone, especially since the seller [2ndPhoneClub] had around 14% 1-star reviews. But after actually receiving it, I’m honestly impressed. I ordered an iPhone 14 Plus in Excellent condition, and it arrived meeting — and even exceeding — what I needed. I’m switching from a Samsung Galaxy A15 (Android) to iPhone. I am also a VTuber, so having an iPhone for good face tracking was important to me, and this is a big upgrade from webcam tracking. In addition to VTubing, I plan to use this phone for normal everyday use. So far, general usage like navigating the UI, installing apps, media playback, and overall performance has been smooth and reliable. I haven’t made calls or sent texts yet, but everything else has worked as expected. The iOS UI was easy to learn, and getting used to it didn’t take long. Cosmetically, the phone is in great shape. There is a very small scratch near the camera, but it’s barely noticeable unless you look closely. The rims have a little wear, and there are a few small white spots near the ports, but nothing that affects use. Overall, I’d say it feels almost like new. The speakers are solid and much better than the phone I previously used for recording. Battery health is at 100%, which was a huge plus, and everything appears fully functional. It seems like the phone was tested before being shipped. I highly recommend getting a protective case, especially because of the glass back. I haven’t tested durability yet, but so far everything feels sturdy. These thoughts are based on my first 2–3 days of use, and I plan to update this review over time to help future buyers. So far, I’m very happy with this purchase. Oh and brightness Was pretty good! the colors on some colors like sun sets in games and stuff pop!

So it’s been 2 weeks, maybe a little more since I ordered this phone & it’s been great. Clean, no scratches, everything functions as a iPhone should. & for the phone to be 3-4 years old the battery life is great. It was on 83% capacity & the battery life has been great on it. If I use my phone steady thru the day I typically only charge it one time. It was quick & easy to switch over everything from my old iPhone to the new one. That includes my service with straight talk. I highly recommend buying from this business. My order was on time also. The phone is 5 stars but the experience is 4 stars. Phone works perfectly, I was able to verify that it's a genuine original manufactured iPhone, the battery life is great, and it works exactly as it should. So I'm thrilled with the phone. I've been using it for about a week now. Charges great on the magsafe charger as well. The problem I have is with customer service. Before I purchased this phone I read all the reviews and recall someone else bringing this up, so it still seems to be an issue. Or possibly it just happens on occasion and I happen to get a phone in this situation. The problem is when the seller gets the phone and does whatever it is they do to restore or refurbish it, they need to then erase it completely and set it back to original factory settings so that when the consumer receives it, we turn it on to the "hello" screen and can set the language and take it through the proper step by step set up. What I received was a phone that had already gone through the set up process and it was in a different language. So I was completely stuck as I don't speak Chinese. I had no idea what buttons to press or how to fix it because of course it was all in Chinese. Luckily, I figured out to use my old iPhone and try to recognize some of the icon images on the screen of the new iPhone and match side-by-side the steps on my old iPhone the best I could and it ended up working where I was able to erase this phone and reset it to factory settings to get it to start up on the "hello" set up screen so I could choose English as the language and go through the proper set up. The customer should never have to go through this much trouble as the seller should be providing the phones already ready for us to set up and not have us have to work magic to try to figure it out as many people are not super tech savvy and this could really be quite frustrating. It's a simple thing, but it's a big thing, and the seller really needs to be aware of this and not continue sending phones out that aren't ready with the set up screen for the new owner. With all that said, the phone works great, it arrived on time and I'm very happy with the phone and if I were to purchase another refurbished phone I would probably buy it from this seller again as the quality is good. Maybe my set up was just a mistake and maybe they deliver it properly most of the time, not sure.
