I love a good OG product. I lost my AirPods on a plane and decided I am not responsible enough to own teeny tiny little chargeable AirPods that are begging to get lost. So they did. Immediately after trying to track them and realizing they were gone forever- I ordered these headphones THAT DON’T require charging (thank GOD) and it’s hard to lose them with the cord length wrapping around my phone a few times. They’re obviously portable, volume is great for not being giant “over the ear” noise cancellation headphones and they are comfortable smooth material. They come with a mic that is also volume control, but fyi.. If you wear them on a plane, the volume (of course) won’t be as great as bigger (noise cancellation) headphones but these have been my best alternative. I also like that they aren’t like the new AirPods that go deeper into the ear canal. Therefore less earwax gets compacted which can cause major problems down the road. Overall: great purchase. I primarily use these Apple EarPods around the house and before bed. I prefer wired earbuds in those situations so I can keep my phone farther away from my head while listening. The long cord makes that easy, especially when paired with a phone holder that keeps the device off my body. Overall, the sound quality is good for everyday listening. They plug in securely with the Lightning connector and have a solid, snug fit. The inline controls work well and make it easy to adjust volume, skip tracks, or answer calls without touching the phone. One thing to be aware of is that these are very much open-style earbuds. They don’t block outside noise at all, so you’ll hear everything around you while wearing them. For some people that’s actually a benefit, especially when listening at home or in environments where situational awareness matters. One interesting trade-off I noticed with wired headphones is that while they help keep the phone away from your head, they do require the phone to stay nearby since it’s physically connected. It’s not really a flaw with the product itself, just something I realized while using them. Overall, these are simple, reliable wired earbuds that work exactly as expected. For the price and the quality you get from Apple’s design, they’re an easy recommendation for anyone who prefers a wired option. ... show more
