I decided to try this since the system in my car is no longer working, the maps are outdated and now it just stops working at random times. This new system was reasonably priced and seemed to do what I wanted. I got the backup camera just in case I need it in the future. This system was SO easy to set up!! And the suction cup had some stickiness to it so it is VERY solid! It connected via Bluetooth/wifi to my phone. I can listen to my audio books while driving, music, and Waze works flawlessly! The screen is huge compared to my original. I didn’t hook up the backup camera yet, but it seems so simple to do I could easily do it myself! My 35 year old son (who originally told me I was wasting my money) now wants one for his car!! His car is older and doesn’t have a screen. Even my skeptical husband thinks it works nice. So, if you are on the fence, I’d say give it a try.

The previous owner of my wife’s car installed a different aftermarket CarPlay solution. We were never able to get it to work reliably. This system has made a huge difference. I was able to mount it in such a way as it is easy to reach from the steering wheel, and does not distract from visibility. I ran the power cable under the dash from the center console in about 90 seconds. The suction cup mount has never fallen in the last two months. It’s solid. Very pleased with that. The touch screen is great. Our only foible with this system is that the Menu option button on the touchscreen is exactly where the recenter button on Waze is when that is displayed. I don’t think we can ding it a star for something like that. That would be unfair.

Installation fairly easy. The bluetooth is what makes it difficult. Sometimes it comnects sometimes it doesnt. When connected thru car sound is distorted. Makes it obselete. Basically uave it for google maps. Since its 50/50 that music will play. Missed return window becuase its in daughters car and nvr mentioned the issue. Camera works well. Just the connectivity

The media could not be loaded. This carplay is exactly what i needed for my old car that is about to be handed to my son. It's 2013 Kia Sorento that doesn't have a backup camera. So with this, I now have a dash cam, carplay, bigger screen for the maps, and most importantly the backup camera for my son to be safely backing up when he's driving on his own pretty soon. I have no issues so far with the carplay because it is doing stuff as described. Had a little issue with the sound that wouldn't come out to the car speakers via AUX cable but after playing a little with the setting I finally found the solution. The only thing that I'm still trying to do is to create a shortcut for the backup camera to appear on the screen. Right now, while on map, I have to do 5 taps to get to the backup camera. I forgot to mention that I chose the easy way to install the backup camera because I don't think I am that handy to go thru the hassle of connecting the cable to the reverse light cable. I might try one day. Lastly, I have no complaint about this carplay up until now. Hope it stays this way but if not, there's the warranty. Hope it helps.

I wanted to give it 5 stars I really did I love the ease of installation the setup is easy it really is a good product exceeeeepppptttt I bought it December of 2024 we have had it for 5 months now in the past week sometimes it glitches out like lines start running up and down the screen like a tv that has gone out! The sound quality is great everything is awesome except when it does that I have to restart it hope this helps I drive a 2015 jeep Sahara it also was used in a 2005 Camry

It works as advertised. The screen is pretty good, nothing fantastic. Connectivity is good. Doesn't lag at all. I think it's worth the price I paid. The aux cord supplied with the unit is not good and was causing static over my car stereo, but everything else about the unit earned it 5 stars (just swap out the aux cord w/a better one).

This is the second device I purchase and this one is hands down the best: - Everything just works so smoothly. - The 7" is a perfect size and doesn't get in the way from viewing the road ahead. - I used a magnetic stand that I already had and the screen stays put with no issues; it not heavy as a 9" device. You'll just need to stick a magnet plate on back of device. - It feels premium for the price. - I use a retractable charging cord, which is slim and flexible. So if you hate wires like me, I think this is the way to go to keep it clean. - Overall, a 5 star product for the price and quality you get.
