I initially received a sub par laptop. I contacted the seller and asked them if i could exchange it for one in the condition I ordered. They were very responsive and were even willing to send the replacement unit while my return was still in route to them. The unit I received as a replacement was in better than excellent condition with extended battery life. The unit they had available also came with a much larger storage capacity than the one I ordered. The instructions they sent for returning the unit to the original operating system were spot on. I recently purchased a MacBook, and I was initially excited about the prospect of owning one of Apple's iconic products. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment when, after just two months of use, I started experiencing a severe screen flickering issue. What made matters worse was that this problem occurred without any physical damage or accidents – it simply happened out of the blue. The screen flickering issue left me utterly frustrated, especially since it happened while I was traveling abroad. I was unable to return the product within the allotted timeline for returns, and that added to my frustration. I had expected a higher level of quality and reliability from a premium product like the MacBook. The laptop was used rarely and the flickering screen significantly impacted my productivity It was impossible to have any form of entertainment with the constant distraction of a flickering display. I attempted various troubleshooting steps and updates, but none of them resolved the issue. Overall, my experience with the MacBook has been far from ideal. The product's reliability and quality were not up to the standard I expected. which has always been known for its high-quality products. It's frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a device and then encounter such a serious issue shortly after purchase. Performance good so far-straight out of the box-uncharged… The condition of the product itself is somewhat questionable. Purchased “excellent” condition, yet it came with scratches and cosmetic dents in the corners of top and bottom. I’d classify it as “good” condition not excellent. Packaging was horrible! MacBook was placed in a rather thin box with no padding or bubble wrap, but the charger was bubble wrapped?? Perhaps the damage occurred in shipping-IDK!? I do recommend that the seller update what an excellent vs good product means, or to be honest in shipping product to match description. I personally was looking for a like new product, not one that looks like it’s been through a scuffle, otherwise I would have chosen to pay less for the good option. Screen was free of any scratches. Either way, productivity is off to a good start. I’ll focus on that I suppose. When I logged on it started up in another language. Took a wild guess as to what drop-down option meant English, and got the set up rolling. Quick performance and efficiency. First, I want to say the product it self has some minor barely noticeable scratches on the top and front of the casing where you open it. So that’s not a big deal. Everything else, the screen, keyboard, touchbar, and usb-c ports , have been great and working well. I haven’t done anything graphic intense to test out the Radeon video card so I can’t say how powerful that really is, but I have a gaming PC for that anyway. The battery health is supposedly 84% however, I can’t get a good idea on that. The max charge capacity when I check fluctuates between ~4800mAh and 6100mAh BUT it did only show 158 cycles on the batter for an almost 3 year old device. The downside is the battery drains very fast. I had an issue where I shut it down around 50% power and few hours it did refuse to power back on showing a dead battery until I plugged the charger in. Also CHECK the charger you receive. My laptop requires a minimum 85W model and I received a 61W charger. I verified this after a bunch of time spent with Apple Support who couldn’t run remote diagnostics on the battery due to the incorrect voltage from the charger. The seller is supposed to be shipping the correct one to me, currently waiting on the tracking number but they had to verify information and make sure I didn’t lie to them (which is fair. The adapters are not cheap if If it’s an apple brand adapter). Another plus was the one I got did have apple care enterprise until 6/2022.
