I have had a recent hip replacement and doing exercises with the addition of weights heals in the rehabilitation of the joint. I love these as they are easy to slip on and off my ankles or I can use them as arm weights. The fact that they are weight adjustable is a bonus.

The product in general seems to be of high quality and will suit my needs. But adjusting for different weights is terrible. I wanted to start out light and so removing three weights would start me off at 2 lbs. per ankle. It took me about half an hour to remove a total of 6 weights. I can't imagine how difficult it will be to add weights back in. The sand pouches are made of thin polyester, and I had to be very careful not to rip them as I struggled to remove them. I should have done my homework and looked at some of the other buying options that were similar in price with around the same ratings. I now see that some of the other choices have a much more user-friendly weight removal system. Lesson learned! ... show more
