I had to not use the base of it, cut the bottoms of the silicone and put a tiny piece of double sided tape undernearth both lenses where the flaps could squeeze into it. It fit onto meta quest 3 headset well. It stopped 80% of light leak. Theres still some. Should have been made with some thick fleece like material on it. But still worth blocking most of the light. Click in and stays in place. Every face is different so it may be better for you or worse. Im happy

This is a good product as it blocks out the bottom light of the quest 3 I recommend this as the quest 3 has an issue where the bottom is exposed.

Ordered several different face pad covers with nose shields and face inserts that were supposed to stop extraneous light and they all were horrible. This nose pad with the Out of Box face insert is PERFECT NO light seepage at all! Because this was just a simple one piece item, I overlooked it and it is only one that does what it is supposed to! ... show more

It does block some of the light, I thought it would block more, but it's still better than nothing. One annoying thing is - with the blocker installed headset no longer charges on the charging dock, I have to remove it for charging to start working again.

Exactly what I wanted and easy to install. It gets most of the lightbleed, but in all honesty I think that all nosepads for the quest, may or MAY NOT have a bit of light bleed depending on the nose shape etc. It's very comfortable and fits great. I am extremely happy with the product and haven't seen any better. Thanks allot ... show more

    • Blocks All the Light - Does Not Work with Official Meta Wireless Charging Dock
For me it works great, snaps very securely at the bottom part of where the nose part is on the headset. I do not use the spacer, so I can't comment on that but have seen many reviews that say it doesn't work with it and I wouldn't be surprised given how it connects in. My main contribution to these reviews, since I didn't see anyone else comment on it, is that this will also not work with the official Meta Wireless Charging Dock. I didn't think it'd make a difference, but it will not hit the 3 contact points at the base of the headset inside the charging station while this is installed but will charge just fine once you remove it. So if you have the official wireless charging dock, just know that you won't be able to use it for the headset at least if you plan to keep this on (and it's kind of a pain to remove if you need to for this purpose, making the snug fit a double-edged sword). ... show more
