Getting this carport canopy for my front porch, it is awesome quality. So heavy when it delivered to my front porch. Need two people to handle it. It is very heavy duty and sturdy. Setup takes me about 2-3 days. So hot outside I need to do little a day. Need to very pay attention on those detailed pieces when you setup. It takes times if you do it wrong. I am not gonna say it is easy to setup but you need to follow the instructions. It is not that hard. It is really nice and value for money. Recommend.

Just put it up, so I can't really rate its durability at this time. It seems pretty sturdy. Installation is time consuming. Instructions were good, but you really need to study them to insure proper installation.

This 12 x 20 carport is very well designed and sturdy. It is not "hard" to assemble but it's not a one man job. There are many parts and you must read the instructions carefully because some things must be assembled in a certain order. Be sure to have proper power tools handy and plenty of time. At one point, you must lift (tip) the structure to place the support legs and that takes at least 3 people. It took me and my son about 2+ days to get it all together. Even though it was a lot of work, it's a well made product, Just don't expect a quick snap together kit.

The material is thick and sturdy, which gives me a great sense of security. It provides excellent sun protection, too. During the scorching summer days, it effectively blocks a large amount of sunlight, keeping the area under the awning much cooler. This has made my patio a more comfortable place to relax and entertain guests. The installation process was relatively straightforward. The instructions provided were clear, and all the necessary hardware was included. Even though it took a bit of time and effort, it was definitely worth it for the end result. One minor drawback I noticed is that the iron sheet can get quite hot to the touch when it's been exposed to the sun for a long time. However, this doesn't really affect its functionality in providing shade. Overall, I highly recommend this awning. It's a great investment for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor living space with a reliable and effective shading solution.

This thing was tedious to assemble. Lots of screws and connections. Don't let anyone tell you this carport is heavy duty because is so not heavy duty. Its a lightweight carport that you might get five years out of it, that is if you dont have a big snow. A lot if the connections are with plastic parts but once assembled it does provide a cover from the elements. After purchasing and assembling this carport, I would not buy again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Supposed to withstand wind Sturdiness: But pieces bent. Tough to install. Should have returned but had hired people to build. And recommended braces did not fit. Had to by hardware to fix

My wife and I put all the roof together it took us several days. Be sure to have an adjustable Tork drill because the metal is very thin and the screws will easily strip. So I ended up using pop rivets instead, more secure an no worries of stripping. The only items they shorted me on were the larger screws for the drip edges, luckily I had some self tapping screws in my man cave I had to use. Over all it wasn't too bad to assemble just a lot of bolts, nuts and screws.
