  • Sturdy, Well Made, Budget Friendly
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
I'm very happy with this shed. I'm a 63 year old woman and I was able to put this together myself with my 82 year old mother helping hold up panels on occasion and retrieve the occasional screw I dropped. First I built a foundation with pressure treated wood and set it on some concrete pavers to give it some airflow around the wood. Then I sorted all of the shed parts and started the assembly. I did not peel off the plastic coating on the pieces. I figured I'd get it assembled and if our summer heat released the plastic, I'd take care of it then. So far the plastic wrap still hasn't come loose and the shed still looks good. Mostly the instructions were good even though they are pictures only. There were a couple of places that could have used better explanations but got it figured out. Nothing major. All of the parts lined up well. Keep in mind, because this is a thin formed metal it flexes so the holes might seem slightly off until the part is seated properly. But if the holes didn't line up at all, I checked to see if I was adding the part in the wrong position and that was usually the case. There was one or two locations where the holes were actually little off, but I was using an electric screw driver (HIGHLY recommended for this project) and let the sheet metal screws push through. I did order the floor kit. The kit is basically just corrugated plastic panels so that might matter to you depending on what you are storing. It makes for a nice finish and was a good addition for our needs. Because there is a small gap around the doors and I knew we would be watering the lawn around the shed, I added car door seal stripping to the door edge. to keep the water out and that has worked great. We have very hot summers and I wanted something that I thought would stay on. So far it's working. We've had a few rainstorms and I checked the shed after each one and there hasn't been any water inside so it doesn't leak. If we had more extreme weather I would have probably gone with a stronger wood shed but this one is strong enough and works perfectly for my needs. It's also much more budget friendly. The latch could probably be better but it works and it keeps the door closed. One other note - it's actually gray and black. I bought it because it said brown and looked brown and tan in the photos but it's definitely not brown. Regardless of the color, I'm still happy I chose this shed. ... show more

  • Great shed
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
I will start by saying I have NEVER put together anything of the sort. My 17 year old and I tackled this project and finished in 2 days (broken up due to lack of sunlight). That said, following the directions, it took us a total of like 8 hours. The boxes are super heavy so if possible, have the delivery guy put it where you’ll be building. The booklet gives pretty thorough instructions but there are a lot of pieces. Everything fit together just right until I got to the floor lol. It’s together but not quite like it was supposed to be hahahaha. There are many screws and not any extras. So be careful. We lost a few and managed but I wish I had known that there were no extras. The door was easy to set up and the lock works well. Keys are included as well. Not thinking I ever want to build another shed but I will say I was pretty proud of the fact that we got it together and working as a shed. Has been through a few storms and held up well, no leaking. ... show more

  • A Good Cost Effective Shed Worth Improving
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
*UPDATE* We just had our first severe thunderstorm with heavy winds and the shed was unphased. Everything inside was completely dry and this was little to no extra reinforcement. Highly recommended! I’m a basic DIYer and was able to build the shed by myself in about 7-8 hours. I highly recommend having an extra pair of hands to make the build easier and quicker, but it can be done on your own as long as the weather permits it. A gentle breeze will literally hinder your progress and even damage the shed as you’re building it without someone holding the panels up as you’re attaching them to the shed’s bottom. A power drill, a wrench, and a step ladder are absolutely necessary. Everything was packaged very well and securely. The included gloves were a nice addition and helped tremendously. The instructions were clear and straightforward and as long as you have patience and good attention to detail, you’ll be able to follow them without confusion. My main concern is how well the shed will hold up in inclement weather. Time will tell as far as leakage goes but I’d recommend sealing the gaps inside anyway. The screws are small and don’t secure the shed as well as they need to in different areas (especially the door hinges) and will eventually have to be reinforced or replaced with better ones. Hole alignments are a little off in many areas which is another reason why you need a drill. I purchased the shed with the floor which is plastic and not the greatest quality. All in all, this is a good cost effective barebones shed that can made much better with your own improvements and modifications after you have it up. ... show more

  • Very cheap
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
wow is an understatement. This is the cheapest thing out there, well for our needs if this is a shed that is going to be protected under a carport with a well built floor and only used to very light duty items this could possibly be for you. This item has the cheapest aluminum. Do not build this in windy weather. Do use the gloves provided or your own. if anything you can at least use this as a knife because it is very sharp. Takes about two people to build you can not do this with one person. It came with 1million screws good luck and read the manual thoroughly before starting because you can easily miss a direction and put things on wrong. I would not buy this for any heavy duty items or if you're putting this outdoors where possibly a tree limb will fall because it will easily dent. When i say this item is cheap i mean take aluminum foil and fold it and it could possibly resemble this aluminum. Do not buy the one with the floor it is so cheap you're better off just putting your own flooring. ... show more

  • Can be assembled by one person
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
Comes with a huge assembly booklet, 3/8 inch thick! I changed how it was assembled in a couple of key places, such as the roof panels at center as the way it was in the book one would have had to reach across a 3 ft span to screw on panels to the center ceiling beam. I attached the panels to the beam on the ground & dropped it over the side beams then attached within. I am a 64 year old woman & was able to put the entire bottom together alone, but did have to lean it against things to do so. I could have finished the roof alone as well but a helper arrived. Changing the roof assembly order kept us from accidentally falling into the ceiling. I had also assembled a smaller shed prior that had come with some thick, 6” or so long stakes to hold it down that I didn’t use due to it’s on a porch. I used those in the corners of this shed; they fit beautifully through the holes in the corners of the floor/frame & helped anchor the structure. I think spikes should be added to this package but it was a different company. My yard is a wind tunnel at times that can blow away just about anything so spikes are really needed. As a metal structure it heats fast in the sun, I’m adding a couple of solar exhaust fans at the vents. And the metal ceiling beams are a great place to stick a rechargeable light bar. I’ve tucked my shed in the corner against the fence for shelter from the wind tunnel, only time will tell on that note but it looks great. I did paint the corner caps & roof ridge caps a flat black as the other shed has black accents & is a color match otherwise. Guess the vents could have been painted as well but for some reason the white seems right. Panels are all coated with a thin film & you can see the part number stickers on that I have not pulled off as I can’t reach all of the panels, but I figure in TX heat that film will bubble at some point. ... show more

  • Good and Bad
I purchased the 6 x 3.9 ft shed it is quite a challenge to put together. The base is simple and straight forward but the shed itself is challenging. Here are the reasons: 1) The instructions are not clear and not enough details are provided to ensure the pieces are arranged correctly. Specifically when you get to the rectangular metal support that the top of the side panels screw into, look at where the pieces should screw into the metal because the instructions can be confusing. 2) For the roof where the hole is 6 feet off the ground, putting a size 8 screw across 3 layers of metal where the holes do not line up correctly and you have to find a 1/2 cm diameter hole on the bottom layer to screw into is very difficult. The easier way is if the manufacturer used a nut/bolt system but it's just 1 small screw into a 1/2 cm diameter hole in the metal. The metal itself is also very thin and you will certainly scratch the paint/protective layer while you assemble it. However it is cheap and the pieces are light. Update: So my toddler accidentally kicked a panel and it crumpled. Now I have a hole on the side of the shed. Furthermore, as I mentioned above the metal is thin. The metal is also sharp. What is sharp and thin . . . a knife. Guess what happened when I accidentally hit my foot on the side of a panel. ... show more

  • Love the look.
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
It took a while to assemble. I looks great and functions well. Waiting to see how it does with rain. I had to have my Grandson help when installing some of the nuts/bolts in the side panels. 90% I did alone. If you struggle to follow just picture instructions, then this may be tough initially. I also built a platform so that it would be leveled and support the floor better. ... show more

  • Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, and Great Value
Color: Brown Size: 8'x6'w
I’m really happy with this purchase. The quality feels better than I expected, and everything worked exactly as described. It was easy to set up/use, and you can tell some thought went into the design. I’ve been using it for a little while now and have had no issues so far. Definitely worth the price and I would recommend it to others. ... show more
