  • All-Weather Performance & Space Optimization: Engineered with crush-resistant wall panels and waterproof joints, this garden shed withstands snow loads and heavy rains. • Great value
I bought this shed (6'x4') on a whim, from a targeted ad. I was in need of some extra storage, so I figured why not. This was $150 shipped, after a $20 instant coupon, so I honestly kept my expectations low. To my surprise, this is a very well machined product. I expected to have to drill a few holes due to misalignment or precision errors, but every single fastener lined up perfectly. The instructions are clear and there's a QR code for a video build if you ever get lost or confused. Pay attention to how the instructions display panel overlaps. Plenty of extra fasteners were provided. The metal is not the thickest and the pieces on their own felt flimsy at times, but once things started coming together, it really started becoming a sturdy shed. The most annoying part was peeling the plastic wrap from the aluminum pieces, but really... whatever. I would likely not trust this in a large snowfall or heavy wind area. The built product is not flimsy, but the metal would probably give under the weight of heavy snow, after some years. If I lived in a high wind area, I would anchor this to the ground. There is a 1/2" interior lip for plywood flooring, which is what I did. If your plywood flooring will be contacting the ground, it wouldn't hurt to paint it with some water seal, otherwise put some gravel down as a base. I imagine I'll have to address any potential leaks with some silicone, but that's not a concern. The lock is pretty useless, truth be told. I'll likely never lock it. All-in-all, if you're looking for an affordable and sturdy place to store some garden supplies, with an attractive design, you really can't beat this. ... show more

  • A Good Cost Effective Shed Worth Improving
Size: 7.4'x5.3' w/Floor
*UPDATE* We just had our first severe thunderstorm with heavy winds and the shed was unphased. Everything inside was completely dry and this was little to no extra reinforcement. Highly recommended! I’m a basic DIYer and was able to build the shed by myself in about 7-8 hours. I highly recommend having an extra pair of hands to make the build easier and quicker, but it can be done on your own as long as the weather permits it. A gentle breeze will literally hinder your progress and even damage the shed as you’re building it without someone holding the panels up as you’re attaching them to the shed’s bottom. A power drill, a wrench, and a step ladder are absolutely necessary. Everything was packaged very well and securely. The included gloves were a nice addition and helped tremendously. The instructions were clear and straightforward and as long as you have patience and good attention to detail, you’ll be able to follow them without confusion. My main concern is how well the shed will hold up in inclement weather. Time will tell as far as leakage goes but I’d recommend sealing the gaps inside anyway. The screws are small and don’t secure the shed as well as they need to in different areas (especially the door hinges) and will eventually have to be reinforced or replaced with better ones. Hole alignments are a little off in many areas which is another reason why you need a drill. I purchased the shed with the floor which is plastic and not the greatest quality. All in all, this is a good cost effective barebones shed that can made much better with your own improvements and modifications after you have it up. ... show more

  • Solid shed but assembly was a two-person job
Size: 7.4'x5.3' w/Floor
This shed has been great for storing my lawn equipment and keeping everything dry, and the sloped roof does a good job shedding rain and snow. Assembly was pretty challenging though, definitely budget a full afternoon and an extra set of hands because lining up all those metal panels by yourself is basically impossible. • Not Tropical Storm Proof!
I gave it a three because overall it is a good product, a little small, but good. Pros: We ordered the 4' x 6' shed. It arrived fairly quickly! It was not hard to put together, took about a day and a half (mostly by myself, 3-4 hours each day). A second person is definitely preferred to put the roof on. Everything I put in the shed (several boxes and plastic totes) stayed dry. Moisture in the shed (in South Georgia) was not a problem as the small vents allowed some air flow. When attaching the shed to the wooden deck I built for it, I used 1.5" deck screws as the screws that came with the shed didn't look like they secure the deck to the shed. We were quite happy with the shed! Cons: When Hurricane Helene came though, the shed held up well for the first 2.5 hours of constant wind. At 1am, the 50mph+ winds ripped the shed off the wooden deck and destroyed the fence behind it as well. The shed is totaled! One roof corner was bent, the backside of the shed was impaled by the fence and all of our stuff in the shed got wet (we managed to save everything because we discovered the shed was totaled within minutes of it happening). The thin sheet metal pieces that attached the shed to the base foundation just weren't strong enough, the wind ripped them apart. The screws that I attached the shed to the deck with are still in the deck. Conclusion: While this is a decent product, it may not be what you want if you live where there are tropical storms and hurricanes. Or, if you still decide to buy one of these sheds, come up with a better way to secure it to its foundation. Knowing this now, if I buy another one of these sheet metal sheds in the future, I'll secure it differently. I may just build a wooden one from scratch. ... show more
