This dresser fits my needs perfectly as a buffet against the entrance wall to my kitchen (see first picture). I moved into this condo in 2020, but the space against the wall right before you enter the kitchen needed something with some storage and a shelf to put things on. I looked at lots of very nice wooden units, but none were suitable because they were too large, too heavy, didn't have enough storage space, or were too expensive, etc. The asking price for the piece I was most interested in before finding this unit was $800! When I saw this unit, I immediately recognized it could suit my needs perfectly, but I was a little skeptical about its quality because except for the metal skeleton, the entire thing is made of fabric. In my experience, photos of items are often delightful, but when you see them up close and in person, they are often sadly lacking. But the price on this unit was good, so I decided to take a chance. And I'm so glad I did!! This dresser (I call it a "buffet" because I'm using it in my kitchen) is gorgeous! I absolutely love the patterns and love the earth tone coloring (my condo walls and much of my decor are earth tones). Yes the drawers are made of fabric, but you would never know it -- they absolutely look like painted wood!! They are also very generously sized (11x12 inches) and they slide in and out very easily. (But be wary of how easily they open -- my cat Graysee [so named because she's all gray, see?] was able to pull one drawer open and and climb in -- see second pic!). I am ESPECIALLY thrilled with how easy this was to put together. I am a petite woman with weak hands due to long-term carpal tunnel syndrome, and while I am good at many things, physically putting things together is NOT one of them! But I was able to easily put this together all by my lonesome in a couple of hours. The instructions are clear and fairly well illustrated -- unlike most of the things I have bought that require "some assembly." It is super easy/fast to assemble, sturdy and a beautifully unique piece of furniture. This one I used the entrance and it is so spacious that everything I ever need to go in out of the house fits into the 12 drawers. Mostly love about it is that it keeps everything so organized! No this is not fine furniture, but it looks so cute in our office, and it's filled with "stuff." The assembly was easy, the drawers slide in and out easily, and the price was right. The top is wood and the drawers are covered in nice black fabric. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy duty use, for example in a kid's room where it would get rough use. But I think for my purposes it will last a long time. ... show more

Love this dresser, very nice looking and sturdy. It came well packaged and easy to put together(just read directions well). Love that even though these are fabric drawers, the front of the drawers are solid.

    • Nice for bathroom storage

This mostly fabric and metal storage unit is pretty and seems sturdy enough for towels and clothes. It wasn't bad to put together (just make sure you have everything facing the same way so the drawers can slide in easily). However, some parts had scratches (like the top, fake wood part), so I used furniture markers to hide those. It worked alright, but not being real wood it wasn't perfectly concealed. Luckily I am putting a basket on top so it will hide most of the scratches anyway and now I only see one on the top corner. One of the wooden knobs for the drawers also had a bad screw that wouldn't screw into the wood. So I used a screw from another project that worked fine. The other 5 knobs and screws it came with all worked okay. But because of these kinds of things during the assembly I gave it 4 stars, but otherwise it looks good in my bathroom overall. I love my new piece of furniture! I am using it in my living room to add color and storage. It was pretty easy to assemble, though the instructions could use some improvement. If you buy this furniture, let me save you a couple of hours that I wasted by putting it together incorrectly then needing to take it apart and reassemble it. Make sure the center pieces that are thicker have the stops all facing the same direction. It only seems obvious after assembling it incorrectly! That being said, I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands but still managed to assemble it pretty easily in a few hours (including my mistake). The design is smart including the drawers that fold flat for shipment. I needed something that looked nice and was functional, and this piece of furniture exceeds my expectations.
