Purchased the lights in Sept. 10 months later several of them have water Intrusion. I tried reaching out via the support website but continuously revive an error language message. Though they are bright and worked well until they did not. States that are for the exterior fences and stairs and yet we have water intrusion. About half of them look like the picture with others staring to show signs of water. I loved them at first but disappointed now in mid summer. 1 star because they are bright but no support and rain water intrusion.

These were awesome for about a month, but you get what you pay for. I installed 2 packs of these lights on our wood fence for outdoor lighting. Within the first month, 2 stopped working. I'm currently 8 months in and the brightness has decreased tremendously, some don't recognize motion anymore, several leaked and have water damage, and a few don't work at all. Also, be very careful installing them. The top bracket is thin plastic and breaks easily.

Overall ok lights to have. Just installed these 2 days ago. On one of the lights the sensor doesn't always work. Also seems dimmer than the rest. Hoping that the rest don't give me the same problem Update: after about 2 weeks I can say that they are complete garbage. Literally only 1 of them is still working. I expected a lot more of them since I had bought the same ones before and they worked fine. Not sure if they are making them with cheaper material or if I just got a bad pack. Either way I am very disappointed with them. Don't waste your money on these

Ordered June 7, 2026, started off great, they were bright and detected motion from a decent distance. Gradually overtime, they started to not detect motion from the same distance, then started to not light up as bright, and now they barely even light up 4-5 times at the motion intervals of I believe 30seconds before they completely die. It’s not September 8, 2026. I’d say save your money.

Bought first set loved them…should’ve waited but bought two more sets. In a span of less than a month out of 18 lights because I bought three sets. 6 have quit working. Also one box came without hanging hardware so had to go purchase screws. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY…currently looking to buy something to replace these because two go out every week.

This is a review of: Aootek New Solar Lights 120 LEDs with Lights Reflector,270° Wide Angle, IP65 Waterproof, Easy-to-Install Security Lights……. EDITED 06/09/2022…..I am returning my 2nd order of these lights. Only 1 of the 4 lights will hold a dependable, sufficient solar charge even after 8-10 hours of sunlight exposure. The other 3 have failed during the 2nd night. My first order of this product was in October 2019, and they are still working. Sadly, the manufacturer has changed this product since my original order. As a test, I placed a new Solar light next to one I’ve been using since 2019, and there is no comparison. I am returning this product for the second time. Therefore, I can no longer recommend this product. Note: I don’t consider this a reflection of the seller and will not hesitate to order from this seller again. LynKin ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’m disappointed that the product itself has changed since my original order of October 2019; however, the product is as described on the product page which I didn’t review. I simply clicked the Buy It Again link on my Order History page. The new light is in the front on my comparison photos. The first two photos show the actual difference in size as well as the manner the mode is selected on the back of the light. The 3rd photo shows the mode selection in the switch compartment behind the weather flap on the lights I received in October 2019. Even though smaller in size, this light has 120 LEDs. The lights in 2019 had 92 LEDs. I DEFINITELY PREFER the old model with the labeled modes eliminating guesswork. While writing this review, I reviewed the current product page. I do not see a photo of the back of the light which would show this change. Had I known this, I would have researched other products. I considered returning this order, but that would have been unfair to Amazon as it was my mistake for not reading the product page. Too, I never had any issues with moisture damage as the switch flap door sealed well. Nonetheless, in my opinion these are THE SOLAR LIGHTS to purchase. This is my second order, but the first lights I purchased are still going strong. None have failed. These are so easy to use. I have cleaned the top of the solar cell panel removing a light colored film that had collected over the past 3 years. Moving along, I do not understand #5 and #6 under Notes in the User Manual about opening switches as I do not see any switches on the outside of the light. I have not and will not unscrew the back. Poor quality and terrible customer support After only a few months of use, every single unit in the 6-pack failed because water seeped inside the casings. They are clearly not as waterproof as advertised. To make matters worse, I attempted to contact customer support regarding the issue, but it was a complete dead end. I would not recommend this product.

Bought 2 of 6pk. In that 1 was dead from beginning and another one stopped working after 1 week. I hope the remaining works without issue for at least1 year. Don't know how it got these many good reviews. Is this a seller plan to keep 1 bad piece in each 6-pk. Thanks.
