Got this lamp for the office, and after the office bought other lamps I brought it home for my night stand. I love the elegant look and the dimmer dial, as well as the electrical outlet and USB port connections. The only thing I did not love was the bulb. I just doesn't quite have that incandescent warmth. It also started flickering badly and going out after just a month. I contacted the seller and they can't replace just the bulb, but they did direct me to where I can get the same bulb and gave me a partial refund to purchase that bulb. I actually ended up finding a different LED squirrel-cage style bulb that I like better, that fits and works perfectly in this lamp. So now it's a really nice bedside reading lamp. ... show more

    • Great Light for the Bedroom

I replaced a previous LED lamp with this one because the previous one broke and I wanted one with a lamp shade for the room. I am sensitive to light, especially at night, and wanted a lamp that could be very dim. The only negative I have for this lamp is that the brightness dial does not allow it to go down as low as you want. There is a minimum brightness. Still, it's pretty dim and with the lampshade it works great for me. The pros are that I like the way the lamp works, it's easy to assemble, the sockets and USB plugs are super convenient to have on your dresser or desk without adding more cords, and the on/off dimness dial is convenient. So overall I like this lamp a lot. As an added tip, I saw someone posted a negative that the lamp shade just sits on top of the bulb. This is because they assembled it wrong. If you follow the instructions, which are super simple, you take the top part off first, then put the shade on, then put the top back on. Lamb was a little smaller than i expected but still puts out a lot of light. I got it because of the ports so I could not overcrowd an outlet. The lampshade is very light and paper-like and was dented when I took it out of the box. I was able to straighten it out for the most part.

It does whats advertised and and the usb ports haven't failed me (yet but we will see). Anyway it was easy to setup and it looks pretty good. Doesnt cover up too much space and covers the light well. You can brighten or dim the light to your preference. Doesn't go that dim though.
