I had a few of these similar pop-out bowls and they tore at the lip of the bowl. As claimed these haven't torn on me. My dog is about 40 pounds (18 kg) and loves to play with these while we are on hikes. He chews on them and tries to pull them apart. My guess is it's his outward frustrations for making him hike but these bowls were intact after a 4-mile hike with him. We went on a hike the day I got these. At the summit, I gave it a go. I put water in the blue one and a snack in the grey one. Not a single tear occurred. He drank out of them just to find, that no residue or slobber stayed on the silicone. I used the provided clips to attach them to my hiking bag and had them air-dry on the descent. The clips are solid and have a satisfying click sound when they close. Very thought-out product, would recommend this to any pet owner who's on the go!

This is a great set of bowls perfect for a cat or very small dog. They collapse very flat and you can easy tuck two bowls stacked together in the side pouch of your pet carrier. The material is solid and seems sturdy. I love the colors. The blue in particular is a really nice shade and feels like a designer product. They also included two clips in case you want to attach them to a strap or hang on a bag. They are removable if you don’t need them. Even the clips are nicely made vs going with a cheap generic metal clip, they are matching colors and nicely formed. Perfect set of attractive travel bowls.
