This was definitely the right choice for protecting our flock from birds of prey. For use over a poultry enclosure, it is working out perfectly. We needed something durable so that it wouldn't rip or damage easily in any wind, weather, or when debris flies around in the air (leaves etc.) and we needed something that would safely keep our birds in and predator birds out. We needed something that would generally withstand seasonal weather and also something that would not tangle up the wild songbirds and harm them. This backstop net has turned out to be the best solution on all points. It took a few hours to do the basic install because there were many things for it to go over and two needed to be connected, but it is very well worth it. Affixing in all the right places for optimal bird safety takes extra time. It works very well, and the size was as ordered (ordered two and connected them together to drape over the top and sides of one large area where framing was already in place). Great peace of mind. If you have outdoor birds and need to keep birds of prey out and not cause harm to songbirds from delicate netting, this netting is a perfect solution to keep all the birds safe so long as you just be careful how it is secured so no birds inside OR outside of the netted area get caught in any loose, draping unsecured netting. This netting will surely last a while. Sheer delicate netting won't last and may tangle and kill birds. We are extremely glad that after days of researching different options and deliberating on the ideal product for the job and considering the price, that we ordered these. Though it took a good part of the day it was still less than a day to install and easier than building up a high tall fence with a roof. Compared to the scale of a job such as that, it was fast! If you are going back and forth on different options to secure your flock, cost vs install time and longevity, we highly recommend building framing and using this netting on it. In less than 2 weeks, this backstop net started unraveling and big holes appeared. Within the 2 weeks it was only in use 2-3 times. Very poor quality and am very disappointed!

We have an aboveground pool and love playing volleyball. We hated having to get out to chase balls. I used this net and two 2x4 boards to hold it up and it cought 99% of wayward balls to the side. Made playing so much more fun. It has held up extremely well and came with hooks and string to support it. AOLIGEIJS Sports Net An excellent multi – purpose net Soccer was the main goal , but this net will work fabulously for a great number of sports , in addition when it is not being use for sport we have placed it atop the kennel that serves as a chicken pen. In the past we had a sunscreen with small netting to protect the chickens from aerial predators...but then it snows it is a night mare it builds up on the net weighing it down, and must be manually removed. The last snow was heavy and the weight of it bent the poles of the kennel tearing the entire thing down. This net is proving a much better solution . The netting is wide enough for snow and ice not to build up and pose a threat, while at the same time being small enough to prevent predator entry! Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible ... show more
