We previously ordered a smaller hoop for our baby who was starting to gain interest in playing with his sports balls. He loved learning the concept of the ball going in the hoop. We ordered this one since it looked fun and interactive. It’s larger and includes 3 balls and a pump to quickly inflate them. It even includes the batteries which most toys do not include, so that was impressive. The only thing I still haven’t figured out is the way the hoop is supposed to be assembled. It has a proper way and the wrong way. I still don’t know if I assembled it right, but it works well. It accurately counts your score and has fun noises. It only mounts on a door, so keep that in mind when planning on where to put it in your home. There is no other way to hang it, but once it’s up, it is sturdy. The whole family has a blast competing, although it still calls you a “rookie” even if you score high, so I don’t get it. Overall, it’s fun and we all enjoy it. Great item!

I thought it would be a fun activity for a party, but I wasn't expecting it to be such a hit. When we assembled it ahead of time at home, we spent an hour having fun with it before forcing ourselves to put it away. At the party, it was fun to see adults become addicted to it, but even Pre-K and Kindergarteners got into it. We had planned to lower it for the younger set, but they were so involved and not at all discouraged that we just let it stay where it was. The flashing lights, sounds, countdown, and scorekeeping were excellent features, but they can be turned off if a quieter game is necessary. The 3 basketballs took a lot of abuse but held strong. It does require a door that opens towards you, for the door jamb gets in the way of the door closing if you place it on one that operates in the opposite direction. The only complaint is that the 3 AAA batteries that came with it were stone cold dead, so make sure you have some on hand. This is a keeper.

The media could not be loaded. As a basketball lover, I got the AOKESI Mini Basketball game to shoot around when taking a break from work. This game surpassed my expectations. It is way more than just a simple hoop with some balls. The backboard and rim are extremely durable, as the rim is metal which screws on to the electronic scorer through the backboard. The design is intelligent because the scorer cannot get damaged this way. Holding the rim and the metal piece to the scorer through the backboard was a bit tricky, but when I held them upright with one hand, I was able to get the screw through the holes once they were aligned. There are foam pads you can attach to the back of the backboard to protect your door, while the backboard hooks are padded to protect your door. Those hooks are easy to screw onto the backboard. I like that this set came with all the tools to assemble this and alkaline batteries for the electronic scoring. I was afraid of damaging my door or frame, but once I had this fully assembled, I noticed the hooks had some padding on the inside to prevent door damage, and the hoop slides out just a little to stay sturdy while protecting the door frame from damage. Now to the fun part, the balls were easy to inflate with the included pump. I recommend under-inflating them because I made the mistake of over-inflating the balls, and one wouldn't go in the basket. The net easily attaches to the rim. Once this is on the door, you can play a timed game where it counts down for a minute and keeps score. The scoring is very accurate as even if the ball touches the rim and bounces out it doesn’t count. I was surprised at how precise this is. I had a blast playing this my myself and competing with a friend. The lights and sounds made me feel like I was in an arcade. I also love how easy it is to fold the rim up with the spring loaded hook. The breakaway rim is great for a small dunk, but just don’t get too aggressive as this would probably damage your door with enough force. This is so much fun to bring basketball indoors without taking up too much space.

This is our third indoor basketball hoop for the grandkids to use when visiting. We put this on the back of the door or when younger kiddos are here, on the top rail of a bed in our bunk room. The hoop is made of metal! It won’t break. There is a spring that will allow for dunking and the hoop goes down and returns to position. The hoop can be folded up for storage. This hoop keeps score and is lit. It came with 3 6” balls and a pump. It took my husband a little while to put together but it is so sturdy and well made. I can’t believe what a great value for the money this set is because we’ve had two (I think actually 3) others that broke at the hoop and backboard juncture over the past 5 years. This one cost about the same or less!

We just moved and I got this for my sons room. He kept saying he didn't want one of these--well now he loves it. He plays with it all the time. He even asked for a little basket to keep his basketballs in so that he doesn't lose them. I love hearing him up in his room jumping around, trying to get all the lights to go off. It's really a nice set! Looks great in his room too!

I love the way this hoop looks. I love that it comes with 3 different balls so multiple people can take turns shooting. The lights and numbers work great. BUT I have to give it 3 stars because of the way the hoop is connected to the backboard. There is a spring that makes the hoop very bouncy and if the ball hits the hoop at all. The spring under the hoop will bounce the ball away. Now that makes this a great tool if you are going for swish shots but not a friendly experience. It's just to bouncy.
