I purchased the two-pack and could not be more pleased. I play in a regional blues band and we use these to send bumper music to the sound system before our shows and during any intermissions. We can also stream our current album music to the audiences and also music from other similar artists to set the mood for our shows. The units came charged and the hook up was easy. They appear solid so I am not worried about dropping them. The dual charger makes it real easy to charge when I need to and the shipping was very very fast. Plus you can't beat the one year warranty!

Review for Aokeo AK-M1 XLR Bluetooth Receiver: The build quality of these is pretty impressive for the cost. I think they made a good choice doing these in lightweight plastic cases, since XLR connectors in consoles and speakers could be damaged by excessive weight hanging from the connectors. The controls work well. I managed a stable connection distance of about 50 feet with a significant number of people between the bluetooth source and these receivers. The 100' range listed in the description seems to be a bit of a stretch. To maximize the reception range, use a mic stand with a 'butterfly' clip to raise the receiver up in the air a bit, and a short xlr to your speaker or mixer. I got the 2x receiver set, and they're nicely packed in usable box with fitted foam inserts for protection. The sound is pretty good, and full range. It's not as good as running an average quality XLR cable, though. (Not particularly a failure of this unit, but just a fact of life with bluetooth transmission.) We set up portable speakers fairly often for events, and frankly, despite reasonable performance and build quality, I'm not sure that I will use them regularly. You're trusting rechargeable batteries to not go dead, and having to take extra steps to move the receivers away from the back or the speaker or mixer for better reception. If you really need this combination of features, though, this does seem to be a good choice for performance.
