as a traveling bookkeeper I absolutely must a keyboard with a fully functioning number-pad. this unit supposedly has a 1 year guarantee from the seller. I must have this replaced or a full refund Second review. Never heard from seller or Amazon. had to add wireless keyboard and mouse to a laptop to make it work. for a 1 year guarantee that is worthless.

On prime day a week or so ago, this laptop was discounted 74%, which made the price after tax $411 and some change. When I saw this discount, I made a split second decision and purchased it. I only spent about 5 mins researching before I purchased, which I know is unwise. I don't use laptops for gaming, mostly just work, and it is sufficient for what I do with it. Everything about it is lightning fast, and picture quality is great. HOWEVER, due to my lousy research, I was surprised to see that the keyboard does not light up. So in the dark, you rely on the screens light to illuminate the keyboard. Not a fan of that at all. Also, the keys are oversized, and laid out oddly, so it's hard to become efficient using this keyboard, while I also use a desktop computer daily, that has a conventionally laid out keyboard. Other than that, the charger cable is about 4'-5' long, while my previous laptops have all had about 7'-8' charger cables. After my impulsive purchase, I was able to find it selling for a list price of $399.99 (before tax) on either the AOC or Acemagic website. So all in all, it functions fine, but the quality seems subpar of a typical HP or Dell laptop in the price range of $400. Personally, I was looking for something high end, that would be a step above average laptops, and this is not it. It's as average as can be. If you want this laptop, it works fine, but go buy it from the manufacturer. Do NOT pay $1400 for this.
