It’s been 2 months of the same water with daily use. 1 hour a day running with the pump to the plunge running. Only downside is the timer doesn’t seem to work so it just runs when the power is on off the whole system timer.

I used to work as a housekeeper in hotels as my first job many years ago, and that is where I learned what an ozone machine was. After charging smokers $250 for smoking in their rooms, we would bring one of these bad boys in and let them run. They usually did an alright job, it is very hard to get smoke smell out but they were probably the best weapon we had against it. I don't smoke now, but my place does seem musty from time to time so I decided to get one of these myself. As a test, I left some old smelly garbage in my place overnight, with the intention of taking it out the next morning and running this machine. Note: This unit also has a water function. I did not get it for a water function as the water why I'm at is pretty good quality, and will only be reviewing the Air cleaning functionality. However, after some quick online research apparently Ozone is a better disinfectant than chlorine - so I am curious to see it in action at some point. Packaging/Presentation: This machine comes in a labelled cardboard box and includes the machine, power cable, instructions, a hose/tube for the water function which I'm not using currently, and a door hanger sign (it is recommended to not be around while this thing is running). Use: It's very easy to use this thing. I just plugged it in, switched the air button to "On" and set the timer which can go up to 120 min or 2 hours. Depending on the size of your place you may need more or less time. Did I need two hours for my one bedroom apartment? Probably not! I left for about 3 hours after turning this thing on as you should always do when using an ozone machine - ozone is irritating and people and pets are advised not to be at home while the machine is running. By the time I'd entered the doorway to my building, not even my actual apartment which was one floor up, I could smell the effects of the ozone machine. And after I opened my door, I could REALLY smell the effects. This thing worked very well. The odor from the garbage was gone. The smell after an ozone is... interesting. It almost smells like going to a pool area without the strong chlorine odor. Some say it smells clean and pure. Others say it smells almost too clean and pure and is thus weird or artificial. I tend to fall in the middle, but it is recommended to air your place out for at least 30 min after use as the effects can make some people feel icky. Conclusion: This machine met or exceeded my expectations for its air cleaning properties, which is why I got it in the first place. I would possibly be interested in trying the water function sometime, but since I usually don't have much use for that function where I am don't hold me to it. I found the machine easy to use and intuitive, and it certainly did its job in my apartment (and half of my 3 story apt building it seems like when I first walked in)! I can attest to its air cleaning functionality, and would highly recommend it for that! Summary: Likes: ✔ Comes ready out of the box, basically just plug and use. ✔ Seems to be made of solid material and well constructed. A tad heavier than the ones I used at my old hotel job, but I wouldn't say it's heavy. ✔ Air purifying mode worked exceedingly well in my one bedroom apartment, though my apartment is admittedly quite small. Also extended out into the hallways with my door being shut! Dislikes: ❌ The website instructions on this product page are great, but the instruction manual that comes with the machine itself is lacking and is more about safety and precautions than using the machine.
