    • Great little product, but NO instructions at all.
This is a great, well-made little device. The only problem, not an insignificant one, is that it comes with no instructions at all. I was finally able to figure it out, but there was some head scratching involved. For example, it comes with several little device mounting brackets, none of which fitted the Ring Cam I wanted to mount and with no clue given as to what each one was for. I finally figured out that what I had to do was remove a rubber plug from the back of the cam and then fasten it through the opening thus revealed with the threaded bolt that comes out of the siding mount and didn't need to use any of the provided adopters. If came some good instructions, I would have give the product 5 stars. ... show more

Just installed in 5 minutes ago so cant speak on build or longevity. It slipped under the sidings super easy. Like others have said, no instructions so it's incredibly hard to figure out. A comment helped me but wasn't as explicit as I needed it to be so... For 2022 ring spotlight cams, YOU HAVE TO TWIST THE BOTTOM WHERE THE BATTERY IS LOCATED, THEN SLID OFF THE NUB PIECE PICTURED, THEN YOU FIND ONE OF THE ATTACHMENTS INCLUDED IN THIS KIT AND REPLACE THAT NUB SECTION WITH THE KIT SECTION. ... show more

Just slide it in and go. Note if this is put at a low level anyone can just come up and steal the camera. If it’s at a higher level anyone with a ladder can steal your camera. I already knew that going into this. Easy to set up. Only caveat is the adjustment ball. After a good rain storm my camera started to slowly angle down. Even though I tightened the screw on this pivot ball. It would still slowly angle down. I had to wrap the pivot ball on the device in some paper towel to add some friction to keep it at the angle desired. That was cheap simple and maybe just a fluke with mine. I was able to put under my siding without screws and besides for the pivot problems device has not been blown or come loose from its mounting. I like it. ... show more

There are no instructions, it took me like 3 hrs. (no joke) to figure out how attach the camera. It was easy to attach to the house, but those 3 hrs. I won't ever get back. The only things I like is I didn't have to drill into my vinyl, and I can move it if I want. We will have to see how sturdy it is. I still can't get over 3 hrs. from now on put instructions you'll might get better reviews. ... show more

    • Tool-less install, but you may want to add a screw or two.
If you have windy conditions, adding a screw through to the siding can increase stability. Otherwise, it is a simple installation.

    • These siding mounts are great
These are great for use on vinyl siding when you don't want to drill into them. I've used them for both Eufy cameras and the solar panels. Are they as secure at a permanent mount? No. That being said, I've never had an issue with weather or winds. Glad I got these.

Didn't want to drill into the vinyl and needed to hand up my Ring Spotlight Cam. Found this for a good price and decided to try out. Came in just a brown box with different attachments but no instructions. I wasn't aware that the back of the spotlight cam slid out and messaged the company for help. They respond rather quickly with the instructions and I was able to get it installed. That was the only difficult part of the install. ... show more
