Weight: Because it uses a thick cotton-polyester blend, it is heavier than ultralight gear, typically weighing between 3 and 4 lbs. It’s ideal for relaxing at home or car camping rather than long-distance hiking. • Portability: It rolls up into an included drawstring bag. While the fabric is bulky, it compresses to roughly the size of a large loaf of bread, making it easy to toss in a trunk or a daypack. • Sturdiness: This is a high point for this model. The fabric is dense and doesn't "give" as much as nylon, providing a very secure feeling. Most versions are rated to hold up to 450–500 lbs. • Quality: The hand-knotted "fishtail" braids at the ends are a standout. They ensure that weight is distributed evenly across the ropes, which significantly increases the lifespan of the hammock and prevents tearing. • Size: The double version is usually around 82" x 60". This offers plenty of "shoulder room" to prevent the fabric from cocooning you too tightly and allows for a comfortable diagonal lay. • Easy to Set Up: It is very beginner-friendly. Most sets include two multi-loop tree straps and carabiners. You can typically go from the bag to swinging in under two minutes without needing to tie any knots. Pro-Tips for this Model • Weather Care: Cotton feels great against the skin but absorbs water. If it gets caught in the rain, make sure to hang it in a sunny spot to dry completely to prevent mildew. • The Diagonal Sleep: To stay flat and avoid back pain, don't lie straight down the middle. Instead, position your body at a slight angle across the fabric. • Height Tip: Aim to hang the hammock so that the lowest point is about 18 inches off the ground when you are sitting in it—roughly the height of a standard chair!!!!!

BEST CHOICE!!! I literally tried 3 other types/sizes before finding this one! It is perfect! I tried a 1 person size, but felt like I was going to flip out of it. I love how this one can come up around me, or keep it lower, or even wrap over me like a blanket to keep mosquitos away! It is soft material with bright colors. I feel incredibly supported and don't fear having it break or that I'll fall out....even when I'm moving around and readjusting how I'm sitting/laying. I sit/lay in every direction you can imagine and works wonderfully! Now my son wants his own, even though we can both sit in this one together. He's 140lb and I'm 180! DO IT NOW!!! ORDER IT!!!! Worth every penny!

really like this hammock! If you enjoy hammocks, this is a great option. It is strong, comfortable, and very easy to set up. I always take it with me when we go camping, and I also use it in my backyard at home. One thing I really appreciate is that when it gets wet, it dries quickly. It’s practical, durable, and perfect for relaxing outdoors. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

I'm very happy with this--it is a great size, and very comfortable. The fabric feels good to lie on. Easy to set up. It comes with a very nice carrying bag which matches the fabric in the hammock--which will be great to repurpose as a stylish shoulder bag. It arrived quickly. Just two "issues": 1) I was surprised to find it shouldn't be left outside in rain--it's an outdoor hammock, after all. (From the instructions: "Do NOT leave your hammock outdoors in the rain or expose it to direct sunlight. The fabric will deteriorate and the coulours may run.") There's no way I'm bringing it in every night! For an outdoor hammock, it seems it should be more weather-durable. I have it hanging in the shade, so sunlight isn't an issue. 2) The instructions for hanging it from a tree were a bit unclear. Specifically: "Wrap the strap around the tree, pass the end of the strap through the metal ring, then rotate it one or two turns and pull it tightly." Not sure what "rotate it" means here--rotating the strap (twisting it) did nothing useful. I ended up wrapping the strap more times through the ring--not sure if that was what was intended. Not like brain surgery to install it, but if that were clearer it would have been helpful. Otherwise, the instructions were very clear and concise, including different methods to hang it (with posts, beams, walls). Overall, I think the quality for the price (aside from the outdoor worthiness of it) is very good.

"I am absolutely in love with this hammock! It is incredibly comfortable, durable, and well-made. The material feels soft against the skin but strong enough to feel completely secure. Setting it up was a breeze, and it packs down into a compact size, making it perfect for both backyard chilling and camping trips. If you are looking for a high-quality hammock to unwind, look no further. Highly recommended!"

This hammock fit my 10 year-old plus IKEA hammock stand. It looks like it would be too small, but it’s not, its snug when used on the stand. The fabric is a thick cotton. I don’t know if it’s waterproof. It is a fabric that you will have to bring inside when you’re not using the hammock if you want it to stay nice. The last one I had was canvas and could remain outside. I am pleased with this purchase. I also added spreaders to keep the hammock wide open. The tree straps, which I have never used, are like seatbelts. The fabric is thick and nylon. The carabiners are heavy duty, not cheap. This was the most important part for me, and I am pleased. Since I will bring this hammock in so that it stays nice I also like the storage bag.

This is a great hammock. We used it all last season (blue/white stripe) There was some (possibly mold?) spots on the white stripes when we took it out this year (stored in shed), so I ordered a different one (different brand), returned it because too big for stand, then ordered this brand again but in the blue/green stripes (so no white this time that can stain) and returned that as well because the material was weird and too stretchy, dropping me to ground. It may have been a defect. So I came back to the same blue/white striped hammock to order it again since I had luck with it the first time. It just arrived. Perfect like the first one. Not the same stretchy terry cloth line material like the previous one. This one is more of a soft canvas. Comfortable but supportive. We will just do a better job storing it, as there were no stains on the old one when we put it away (I guess because even though it got rained on, it dried completely in the sun, but I guess there was moisture and no sunlight in the shed all winter)

Okay I genuinely LOVE this hammock. It can easily fit two people, we have made three work haha. I love the material, I have always hated nylon hammocks. It is sturdy and comfortable. Easy to set up.
