This hammock is the most beautiful shade of green out there. It is also extremely comfortable! Easy to set up between my trees, and I used the bars on the end ( slid all the way up), to stabilize and make my hammock deeper. I actually napped with my dog after gardening, bc it was that comfortable. I felt like I was in a cocoon. The material is akin to a football jersey, but stronger. So comfortable! I have this hammock in my butterfly garden, which has automatic sprinklers. It has been doing great! The price is so affordable, that zi am mot worried. If the sitting water creates mildew in a year or so, I I will try to scrub off, or just buy another one, since the price is so affordable. The blue shade is also gorgeous. In the past, I have bought the expensive ( $100) Mayan hammocks, and I can honestly say that this one feels the sane! Very happy with this exquisite product! ... show more

Very easily transportable, and setup is a breeze! Portability is great as the material allows for you to be able to fold up and go. Price set for this product seems to be a good option for the return you get. Very comfortable too!

We got two of these for trips to a friend's lake house. They're easy to pack into the back of the car and easy enough to put up, and then take down again. As for comfort and stability, they're about as I expected from a meshy packable hammock. Meaning I find them more fun than something I want to chill out in all day. I have owned several packable string hammocks that I use when camping. They fold into a very small pouch. This hammock does NOT fold as small, due to the wood spreader bars. BUT that also means this hammock does not collapse quite as much while you are using it. Overall this a decent hammock for the price. ... show more

The best thing about this hammock is that it packs up the very small. It's lightweight and easy to throw in your camper for when the opportunity arises. Seems to be pretty decent quality though I wouldn't expect it to last long if it was just left outside. Overall I would say this is a good choice if you want a fairly inexpensive hammock for those moments of opportunity when camping! ... show more

We've gotten into hammocks this year and have ended up with a few (currently rotating through 4 with the addition of this one). This is an inexpensive hammock option with a mesh body, some small spreader bars, and a daisy-chain/carabiner setup for flexible hanging. For $34, at the time of this review, this won't be a luxury hammock, but what you DO get is a lightweight, airy hammock with all mounting hardware. One of my chief complaints about our other hammocks is their lack of breathability, so I tend to start getting warm over time when laying in them. The mesh on this takes care of that and keeps me much cooler. The spreader bars are pretty minimal, but they do manage to keep me from getting cocooned in as with our hammocks without spreader bars. They're lightweight and pretty minimal, and I sort of wish there was a way to easily remove and re-add them, but they result in a decently comfortable hammock experience. The inclusion of the hanging hardware is the final nice touch on this. Since we use a hammock stand most of the time, we have an odd array of climbing ropes and carabiners to get things hanging right. That has all been replaced by the daisy chain hammock straps included here since they're so flexible to adjust to so many different sizes, then offering different hanging lengths. Overall, for the price, I found this to be a great hammock, either as a starter, or just as a cooler option. ... show more

Item comes packaged in an unmarked plastic bag. Out of the bag, it just unrolls and you have all your parts and instructions. There was no off-gassing. This is my first experience with a hammock, but it was very easy to assemble around a couple of trees. The carabiners are solid and appear to be of good quality. When hooking them to the hammock, they do catch some of the strings on the knot. The straps are a decent length, feel sturdy, flexible and are easy to adjust. The mesh is thin, but stretchy. The spreader bars don't spread it out much. Though you're not totally cocooned, it does wrap around you a bit. The bars are made out of a lightweight wood. We cannot speak to whether they prevent turning over, but no one has fallen out yet. The mesh is airy and breathable, though my son did feel like it got a little hot after being in it a bit. Rolled up, it all fits nicely back into the storage bag. The bag has a handle for ease of transporting. It is relatively small and very lightweight, so would be no issue packing or carrying somewhere. The green color fits nicely in our backyard environment. Overall, it is an inexpensive, quality hammock kit. At this price point, I would definitely recommend. ... show more
