  • Beautiful multifunction modern glass bowl
Color: Kale Size: 10 Cup
I’ll admit, at first, the idea of this bowl being safe for use in the oven, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher sounded almost too good to be true—especially microwave cooking that’s actually appealing, tender and moist? But the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Microwaves don’t destroy food; they just heat differently. Instead of blasting your meal with dry, direct heat like an oven, they work by agitating water molecules—essentially steaming from the inside out. And steaming, as we know, is one of the gentlest, healthiest ways to cook. That idea alone made me want to give it a try. I had the opportunity to try the 10 cup version of this bowl with stainless trim and I absolutely LOVE it. It absolutely lives up to the item description! The included AnyDay recipe book is a huge help and has taught me about delicious microwave recipes I wouldn't have thought of. I highly recommend the Shakshuka! It’s delicious, easy and quick to prepare. Now, fair warning: there is a learning curve. Microwaves are not standardized machines. Wattage, placement, even how your microwave rotates—all of that affects the outcome. My first few tries were experiments, adjusting timing and layering to get the consistency I like. But once you dial in what works for your specific setup, the outcome is wonderful. What makes the AnyDay bowl stand out is how well-designed they are for this kind of cooking. The lids trap steam beautifully, creating an even cook throughout—especially if you do the usual prep work like cutting ingredients uniformly. There’s a smart little valve for venting, too, so it doesn’t turn your microwave into a pressure cooker gone rogue. It’s thoughtful engineering that feels intuitive once you’ve used it a few times. Cleanup? Ridiculously easy. You’re cooking and eating from the same dish, and there are no crusted-over pans or greasy splatter zones. It’s also surprisingly satisfying to carry a hot, aromatic meal to the table straight from the microwave. The bowl is made of high quality materials and is also very beautiful. I love the kale silicone color combined with the frosted glass and stainless trim. It actually fits in really well with the real accent colors in our kitchen. Bottom line: this system has completely reframed how I think about microwave cooking. It’s not just a reheating tool anymore—it’s a legitimate cooking method. One that’s fast, clean, and low-effort without sacrificing flavor or nutrition. Solid 5 stars from me. ... show more

  • Bowl with lid that can go in the microwave! What more do you need to know?
Color: Kale Size: 10 Cup
I have several Anyday bowls. When I saw this one on Vine, I jumped on the chance to get another one. I have been cooking in the microwave for years. It works great for many dishes. I particularly love cooking foods like mushrooms in the microwave as they come out perfect every time and I don't have to stand over the stove. The problem with some foods like mushrooms is that they foam/bubble up. This is where the lid on this AnyDay bowl comes in. I can cook a bunch of mushrooms and not make a mess in the microwave. Woo hoo! Clean up is very easy. These are bottom-rack dishwasher-safe. I'm not a fan of the feel of the frosted glass, but I overlook it for all the other benefits of this bowl. ... show more

  • Very Good Container - The Value is Subjective - Discussion Below
Color: Kale Size: 5.5 Cup
There's no doubt this is a very good container. One nitpick is that it would be nice if the lid could match the max temperature of the container in the oven. The price does make it a little more difficult to say it's a good value, but it really depends on what you need and how you will use it. Does it do all of the things they advertise? Yes. Can you cook with any dish that's microwave and/or oven safe? Yes. You can cover it in saran wrap and poke some holes, or put a dish on top. Yes, you can store what you didn't eat in the same dish, but you will have to wait until it's fully cooled, because you have to avoid any sudden change in temperature - because, it's glass. In the end, you're buying a glass container with a lid. The "value add" is that you can use it in the oven (but not the lid over 400 degrees) and for storage, and that the lid has vents and also seals. That will be more than enough for a lot of people - and when you add in the looks, it will seem like a no-brainer. Others will find whole sets of microwaveable and oven safe glass containers for sale on Amazon for exactly half the price. Now, they have plastic lids that don't vent and can't be heated, so that is really the main tradeoff. Aesthetics are important as well. If you like the look and want to present in the dish, that could also factor into your decision. If price were no object, I'd probably own a set of these containers. For now, I'll use this one for awhile and see how much I want another in the future. Would I be more inclined to purchase more sooner if they were less expensive? Yes. ... show more

  • The casserole dish o' my dreams
Color: Kale Size: 10 Cup
Holy. Moly. This glass dish is gorgeous, functional, and dare I say even ergonomic?! The sleek design of this dish is a complete win, with its rounded corners and thick slightly frosted glass base. The lid has a silicone rim to ensure a tight seal. The lid is also transparent so you know exactly what's inside. But these elements pale in comparison to the knob on the top of the lid. It Moves! You can squish it down so the dish is stackable. Great option for storage in a cabinet or the fridge. But it easily pops back up when you need to use it as a lid handle. The dish arrived well packaged in a box that can easily be transported or gift-wrapped. Included in the packaging are several cards full of tips for cooking with this casserole dish. I've been working to eliminate all plastic from my kitchen ware. This dish not only works for storage, but for cooking as well. Total win and worth the investment! ... show more

  • As pictured. Minor quality issues.
Color: Kale Size: 5.5 Cup
Overall, this is a great glass container. It came well packed and they include recipes and cards that tell you how much different things take to cook. I love that you can pull the lid handle to vent the container. Unfortunately, the lid came scratched in some areas (see photos) and I'm not sure if that would affect the ability to use it in the microwave. There are very few metals that can be safely be used in the microwave, so I'm hesitant to test this if the lid is not fully covered. Still, I should still be able to use it in the oven and to store food, but I wish I could have tested it in the microwave as well. Overall, it seems like a well designed product and if you get one in perfect condition, it does provide a broad range of applications. ... show more
