  • I wish I bought one sooner
Size: S-Wash and Cure 3
I have been resin 3d printing for a little over a year now, I got this lovely machine in last week. Using the wash and cure 2 has been amazing, it makes cleaning my 3d printed miniatures so much easier. I no longer have to use buckets of resin and manually shaking the mini. The wash cycle is so easy to use, I let my build plate drip any extra resin off for a few minutes after the print is done, then I pop it in the wash cycle while still on the build plate for 10 mins. When I come back I remove the plate and pop off the prints. They have been much cleaner than my manually hand washed ones and not having to stand over the resin bucket has been great. I do not miss the fumes of doing it manually. The cure cycle of the machine does a great job, there is a reflector in the bottom to ensure the bottom of your prints are cured as well. For my miniatures I have been running 6 mins for the cure cycle. They cure evenly and look great, I really wish I never waited on buying one. It is very much worth the money. The box that my machine arrived in was sturdy and we'll packaged, everything unpacked quickly and easily and I got to use it within a few mins. I had a print ready and waiting to test it right away. I give this a perfect 5/5 score. It looks better than having random resin buckets in my print area and it's cleaner and easier to use. ... show more

  • Super convenient
Size: S-Wash and Cure 3
The media could not be loaded. I had done a lot of research, and watched a lot of Youtube videos on how to make my own DYI wash and curing station. After considering the cost and end product, I found this wash and cure station, and decided this is a perfect match to my Anycubic Phton Mono 3D resin printer. Oh boy, am I happy I did decide to proceed with purchasing it. The video attached provides video of the wash function and the cure function, along with the audio so you can hear it running. Pros: - Easy to use. Comes with everything you need (other than the IPA or other cleaning solution) to clean and cure you resin 3D printed items. - Lightweight and small footprint. Easy to setup on a desk. - Easily change from wash to cure with single button. - Nice timer control knob and big time display. - Wash tub includes basket to easily remove the cleaned item. When washing, the magnetically spun turbine at the bottom forces a cyclone of cleaning solution around and through the items. - Cure station has spinning pedestal, and reflective film to place under, for items to get fully cured by UV lights. Cons: - None that I can think of ... show more

  • Great not perfect
This machine is extremely convenient. It fits perfectly with the Photon Mono X build plate and simplifies the post processing of prints. It does its job very well. There are just some quality of life improvements I feel should have been implemented. At $250 it is a bit expensive (especially considering there is no heater) for what it is, but I haven't seen a better alternative for this size printer. I do often see it on sale though. Pros: -Washing motor is fast, and every minute or two it switches direction. Great for agitating the alcohol around the model. -Ability to angle top LED array to get top model coverage -Basket is nice and has a separate piece for placing the build plate inside -Looks great next to the Photon Mono X. Same basic dimensions and aesthetics. Cons: -In curing mode, the turntable does not rotate smoothly, causing vibrations in the print that could be an issue depending on the model geometry -The turntable and reflective sheet need to be removed for wash mode. Its annoying to need a place for them half the time (I started leaving the reflective sheet in for wash mode) -No heater. Many other wash cure stations have a heater that preheats the cure chamber, or at least heats the chamber as it cures. ... show more

  • Massive time saver with some minor issues
Size: S-Wash and Cure 3
Pros: Easy to use Cuts curing time from hours to minutes Wash and cure in the same place Can't accidentally start with curing without the cover Large tub, basket will hold the build plate from the Photon Ultra Can wash longer than 10 mins at a time Mostly quiet, no excessive power usage Cons: Basket drips on the inside surface when it's pulled up and latched Can't see the indicator light for wash vs cure unless it's at eye level Knob to set the time is extremely sensitive. Can literally change the time by lightly brushing it Forgetting to change from wash to cure will fling anything on the bed in every direction Revolving bed jerks the first time when changing from wash to cure, slight but enough to shift the model Hard to empty the tub Basket openings could be a little closer, had tiny pieces fall through Honestly the rating is more of a 3.5 at this point. I can't imagine going back to the "old ways". It just has a few too many minor issues to rate higher but does what it's supposed to. Anycubic seems to have this problem consistently though...expensive machines that are the bare minimum to be extremely good but would be great for just a couple dollars more in parts and design time. They are the equivalent of the smart kid that settles for a B+ ... show more
