Doesn’t accurately weigh mass below 5 g.
It’s not usable below 5.0g. It’s not at all accurate, so a lot of the ingredients I use for a one gallon carboy don’t have enough mass to accurately measure (ingredients such as DAP, Fermaid-O, Fermaid-K, potassium sorbate, potassium metabisulfide.) It’s not that it doesn’t have utility, it just doesn’t work for me.

Amazingly strong scale in a tiny package
I have nothing but good things to say for this scale. I purchased it to weigh my hops and other spices for brewing and my homemade BBQ rubs and blends. This scale is easy to use, and weighs at lower mass with ease. The LCD display is easy to read, the tare functions works quickly, and unlike some other kitchen scales, the battery does not shut off after 10 seconds of inactivity.

First DOA, second works great
Just doesn't turn on at all. Included batteries don't work. Swapped to batteries from an identical model with different branding, and those didn't work. None of the buttons do anything. Conclusion? Dead on arrival. EDIT - Contacted Anvil directly, told them the scale didn't work. They shipped me a new one immediately at no cost, which works like a charm.

Way better than normal "food scales"....
Excellent quality & price! Great for accurate, small measurements - like adjusting water chemistry/hop additions.

I recommend this scale
The scale is accurate I tested it out and it's a nice scale I recommend it. It weighs in ounces and grams, that's what I use.

Works perfectly
Works great right out of the box. I like that pressure sensors aren't on the bottom like most food scales.

Drains Batteries
This scale sucks battery power even while turned off, meaning that if you only brew once a month, every time you go to use the scale you will need to replace the batteries. But I guess, what can you expect from a $20 "precision" scale?
