The rug came in a box, vacuum sealed. It fluffed right up all on its own once the bag was opened. I was determined to get this rug under the bed in this room by myself and with minimal effort, so I did not vacuum or do anything to the rug before or after getting it in place. The images are of the rug as-is with no treatments. There are little to no indications that it was folded at one point, and it'll most likely flatten more as time goes on. The rug itself seemed...askew. Hard to determine by myself with no additional manpower to remove the bed from the room and see exactly how the shape is off without obstruction, but it is definitely ever so slightly off - no matter how many times I adjusted the rug to align with the wall, the rug portion at the end of the bed wasn't straight. So I went for making it straight at the edge of the bed versus the wall since that's more hidden by the bed. While this was (and is if I think about it too much) annoying, it wasn't something super obvious visually with everyone in its place and it didn't impact how the rug fit into the space. This rug is SLIPPERY. It is extremely soft and just has this amazing feeling to it where you wanna just roll around in it for hours, but the material used to make this softness is slippery if you aren't paying attention. Not only is the material slippery, but the nonskid is basically useless unless you're placing something heavy on it to hold it in place - but that won't stop the sides/corners from slipping around ESPECIALLY if you're walking heel-to-toe ONTO the rug, where it will make you slip like you stepped on a banana peel. Walking away from the rug area is less slippery because it's being held in the center. Since I've put a bed on it, I'm kind of ok with not putting a replacement nonskid on, and this is the guest room so it isn't #1 on my priority list. The color I got is navy and it's a beautiful color. I like how it's dark but because of the material it shines from certain angles; it makes it look like it's more than a navy color, but a grey or white with navy. Overall, I love this rug even if it'll make me slip and fall to my demise. It's the perfect softness for a place like a bedroom where you want all that comfort and coziness. I wouldn't put this in a high foot traffic area unless you have additional nonskid pads in place. I haven't vacuumed it, so I do not know the difficulty or ease of doing so on this type of shag rug - my other shag rugs are more cotton woven shag rather than this soft, almost feathery single-thread shag.

Cloud soft and silky plush. I love this for my older doggie who’s incontinent. It makes it easy for her to get up from slippery floors, it’s easy to move it from spot to spot as needed, and if she wets it, it’s sooo easy to pin the edges on the line and hose off the pee and it dries in hours. If I want to wash it I put it in a large oversized laundry bag (from say Daiso) and then dry it in the dryer inside out, and whala. But I’ve done that 1 out of 10 times. Mostly it’s on the line and it’s fluffy again in few hours. I bought a second one two weeks later. She loves it, chooses to lay on it all the time. I may even buy 2 more, for other areas of our floors and as backup, because it’s just so comfy for her and easy to work with, and reasonably priced. LOVE IT, thank you rug maker!!

It was shrink wrapped (so a bit puzzling to unwrap) but it was definitely safe from the rain (I get my deliveries outside my garage). It fits right where I wanted it to (size was great!) and color is decorative! It does not seem to slip but I am ordering rug tape just in case. I am disappointed they say to hand wash btu we shall see- and it might be a bit slippery for bare feet or socks - but I've only had it 3 days. All in all, just what I wanted! Price is right also!

This rug or carpet whatever you wanna call it is wonderful I have dogs and because dogs have accidents of all kinds. I need something that was inexpensive so we could be rinsed off in the yard with the power washer and comfortable and soft to walk on and the color was really great

I love this rug, I have it in a large version too in a different room. I bought this one because I couldn't find a large bathmat and thought it was washable. Putting it through the washing machine completely jacked it up -- shrunk parts of it and detached it from the backing. Perfect rug but wish it was easier to clean!
