I was excited to purchase this as the real dyson attachment is impossible to get and it is also cheaper. It fit and started to work but then got EXTREMELY hot and my Dyson turned off. I cleaned it as suggested in one of the comments (though I do this regularly). It went on for a few seconds, again the attachment got extremely hot and shut my Dyson off. I love my Dyson and do not want to take any chances in breaking it. I returned it and hope to be able to purchase the real attachment soon. Be careful - it is not worth breaking your expensive Dyson over this plus even if it did not turn it off, the attachment gets ridiculously hot! Not safe!!

There were no instructions in the box so I just had to try to figure it out on my own. It’s not the easiest, most straight forward product but it’s manageable. And it really does work at smoothing my hair (fairly curly, in ringlets, and about mid back length).

It will work for a few minutes but then it’s like some sort of a safety shutoff from the air wrap getting over heated. I should have returned it months ago. It also came with zero instructions.

When I used it it had a bad burning smell and also when attached and powered on my airwrap kept turning on and off. I was afraid to keep using it in case of damaging my airwrap so I returned this. Would not recommend.
