Took a long time to assemble however, it worked out! Put together myself for about 4 hours, directions aren’t very clear but if you’ve assembled a lot of furniture, you can figure it out. Really looks high end and beautiful. Have not added mattresses yet, but the company suggests up to 7 inches thickness. The trundle is a little difficult to open and close, it works, but watch your fingers. The trundle is not attached to the bed and can be moved anywhere it is needed. The wheels do not lock which may be an issue when sleeping. You can buy locking wheels and attach instead. ... show more

With blanket is one 5inch mattress, without is two 5inch mattresses. It’s cute! But some practical issues. The slats don’t go all the way to the edges, so you’ll sink in on the sides. Especially when you only have one mattress on the top. When you sit on it, and only have one mattress, the bar on the front hits you. When the trundle is pulled out, you can’t lay the direction of the current pillow position because the bars are on your back. It was easy to put together but I wouldn’t buy it again. ... show more
