You need to buy a subscription to get notifications on your phone if the door opens or closes. I figured I bought the product and I so I’d go ahead and get a subscription. When I tried to go to the website by clicking on the provided link there was nothing there.

    • Good sensor, poor quality mounting adhesive
Sensor works like it should and i haven't had any problems with the device itself. The sensor has a impressive sensor to sensor range. If you have irregular shaped trim around your door, like i do, it will still work. The mounting adhesive provided is garbage and both devices fell off within the first day. Luckily nether were damaged as a result of falling off. And I suppose that goes to show that they are rather durable. In the end I scrapped of the original mounting adhesive and replaced it with some strong 3M mounting tape and haven't had a problem since then. ... show more

    • will never show door closed
will not pair unless i add sensor and gateway manually...i tried to set up with sensor together(magnet) and apart...pairs and sees sensor...shows open...no matter what you do...never shows closed...i gave it time to see if just slow...nope...door open and never changes state...junk product...move on

    • Could not connect to my wifi
The media could not be loaded. Instructions were unclear. Instructions state indicator light with blink rapidly. Other devices on this "smart life" ecosystem blink rapidly but this sensor in particular rapidly blinked 3 times and appeared to gave turned off. Tried to connect it and reset it for about an hour and gave up. ... show more

    • Blue Tooth would not connect
I returned 4 of them due to none of them would connect to a blue tooth device. I laid them on an iPhone and an iPad trying to connect and nothing. I ended up returning them for something I hope will be better.
