    • Toasty when it's cold!

I purchased this coat to battle the chill I always feeling in winter weather. The coat is lightweight, (battery pack is to left side), so tends to pull that direction, but once it's zipped up its hardly noticeable. It does take a few moments for the coat to warm up, but it a toasty experience after. I got it in a 2XL so I could layer underneath it accordingly. It hasn't been super cold yet, but for the just below 30's temps I have experienced it does pull its weight. The battery is specific to the coat and no one else's brand, so interchangeable battery packs with USB ports are out, but it keeps up fairly well. So I will probably purchase a back up battery for longer full time use. I purchased the coat in black, and it's not a big "puff" style coat which is nice. It does come with a removable hood that covers well and can be cinched tighter, slightly cinched elastic wrists, which cannot be adjusted, but are not super tight either. The coat covers over my butt, and has two adjustable cinching elastic bands along the bottom of the coat as well and the pockets are big to hold gloves and hat if needed. For my rides or daily use, it’s lightweight enough to wear as an inner shell under my gear and keeps me warm without feeling bulky. The heat settings are easy to use, and the included power bank lasts plenty long for my rides. I was surprised how comfortable and well-made it feels—great fit and doesn’t restrict movement. It’s made my cold morning commutes so much better. Highly recommend it if you need warmth without extra bulk! If you have an electric hand warmer in the right pocket it balances the weight of the battery out great. Order a size up. My husband is usually a perfect mens M in t-shirts and I got him a Large in this jacket after reading the reviews. It fits him perfectly with room to wear a sweater if he so chooses. This jacket helps me stay warm. The only issue is that is made with polyester material and my skin is sensitive. So when it rains, my skin tends to get irritated over besides that. But besides that it does the job.
