The media could not be loaded. So glad I picked up this portable AC! The setup was way easier than I expected—I just followed the manual to snap the exhaust hose and window kit together and was done in minutes. It’s super compact and doesn’t take up much space at all, plus the wheels make it really easy to move around. Most importantly, it cools down my room so fast! The cold air is strong and it’s been a total lifesaver for the California heat. Definitely a 5-star purchase for anyone looking for something simple and effective!

What I like about this one is its energy efficiency, costing on average of 87dollars. a year with a 6.6 energy rating. This is very easy to install as it has all the hardware assembly included for us. It took less than 15 minutes. The noise is about average for portables. This has a fan, a dehumidifier, and even a purifier. This can cool up to 450 sq ft, so it can do an area of an office or a small studio. This A/C has nice wheels and a handle, making it easy to move from room to room or put it in storage when not in use. I think the price is good and it has a decent warranty. If there are any downsides, the remote could be digital, and the controls are on top, so you have to get up and look at them to verify the temperature and settings. The batteries are included, which is great, and overall, I think it's a good purchase for those looking for a portable A/C for a small to medium room.

I got this for my son's south-facing bedroom, which is the hottest room in the house. We're downstairs practically dripping in icicles while he's upstairs telling us he's so hot he can't sleep. Ugh. I was skeptical this portable AC would make that much difference, but color me extremely impressed. It even has a sleep mode, with minimal noise and less output. He loves it. This completely cooled his mid-sized room and did it faster than I expected. It's rated for rooms up to 350 square feet, and for his room (which is 410 sq ft), it has been one heck of a workhorse. It also has fan and dehumidifier modes, which is a nice bonus, but for us the real story is that it brought the temperature down and made the room comfortable enough for him to sleep. Easy install, too. I'm not technical, but I put it together and it worked out of the box. Just remember if you lay it on its side to slide it out, keep it upright for 4 hours before you use it. It comes with the window kit and exhaust hose, and that setup was straightforward, not the nightmare I assumed it would be. It also has a remote, a 24-hour timer, and wheels, which all add to the convenience for him. He's graduating college soon and plans to take it with him, because I'm sure wherever he lands next probably won't have AC like we do. At $259, I think this is a very good value. It has a lot of functionality for the price.
