This camera is amazing! I needed a camera for my workshop that could cover the entire room. While looking for a traditional overhead 360 camera I ran across this one! This is so much better than the distorted fisheye the other options provided. The installation was simple and works flawlessly with Blue Iris. I did not need to install any 3rd party software to get it up and running which is a big bonus to me. The image quality on this camera is great with the best color production out of all my cameras. The camera housing is extremely sturdy, feels like aluminum. It is a bit heavy, but that just means it is well built. The mounting bracket was simple to install and mount to and provides a very sturdy base. The camera has built in LEDs that can kick on when motion is detected or just stay on during the night. Very cool features in this camera that I have not seen in any others. I really cannot say enough, if you have not tried out a camera like this one you should. It is surprisingly versitile and easily covers 180 degrees with much more acceptable distortion compared to the 360 domes. I will surely be getting more of these as they will allow me to have less cameras with the same amount of coverage. Great little units! ... show more

I've been impressed with the picture quality of the Anpviz 4k cameras. This dual lens 180 degree wide angle has been a great camera to cover one whole side of the house. This camera is large but they have a mounting system that is easy to install and adjust (with security torx wrench included). Something Anpviz cameras have are dust plugs on the DC power connectors, which are great since most people use POE. It was nice to see additional connectors for alarm and microphone connections as well. Now all those connectors can pose a challenge if you are trying to flush mount on a wall and you have to stuff them all in the wall cavity. Keep in mind when mounted this camera is about 2 times the size of a normal dome camera and protrudes from the wall more, so it seems to be more noticeable. Setup was easy, I used the SADP tool and set an administrator password which activates the camera (something you need to do before using the camera). The camera uses DHCP for the IP but in my case I updated to a static IP with the SADP tool and then setup the camera in blue iris. Blue Iris was able to search and find and correctly setup the video streams. Picture quality is excellent and the 2 images are joined perfectly. All in all, for a great price this camera can replace 2 cameras for a side of a house without a fisheye distortion. ... show more

I installed this camera on the front my my house just above the garage door. I can see up and down the street at the same time! This camera is great. I've very happy with it. The software takes a bit to get used to it, but once you have it set up, it works great. I can access the camera through the app from anywhere and see what's going on out front. ... show more

The camera arrived, and I’ll admit I was a bit surprised at the physical size of it. It is a big/heavy unit that is well constructed and appears to be built for long operation in exposed environments. Getting it connected was a breeze. I was able to power it using my existing PoE hub without issue, and connect to the camera using my Synology NAS surveillance software. No issues with setup, the 4K video is fantastic (amazing wide view), and I tested the speaker/microphone and also set it up to sense motion at night and activate the strobe light. No issues so far, and I’m looking forward to testing out the advanced motion/recognition settings to see what is possible. The camera does come with mounting hardware (base ring and mounting lags/screws), along with a user manual and quick start guide. My only complaint, is that I could not find any included documentation to explain the pinout of the audio/alarm cables that are available. Also, just be aware that this is not a stealthy video camera. It is LARGE and very obvious. :-) ... show more

- Very solid construction and build quality like much more expensive cameras - Packed with product features; can’t identify anything that they have missed - Sturdy metal camera housing - Package includes a very nice mounting template to aid in getting the mounting holes aligned properly - This is a larger camera body (to accommodate two image sensors and illuminators). Make sure you have an adequate mounting location and space for at least 2.5 pounds and a 5.5 inch diameter camera unit. - The camera DOES have both white (visible) lights AND IR lights (even though the IR lights are not currently depicted in the Amazon product images) - The ability of the camera to display color images in very dark conditions is amazing. The included images and video in this review were shot where there is some ambient light but things are quite dark to the human eye. - The quality of the “stitching” of the two cameras is superb. I am unable to see where one image sensor stops and the other begins in the video feed. - Note that the overall resolution for the entire device (including both cameras combined) is 8MP 4096x1840. So, the resolution of the video/images will be less than if two independent 8 MP cameras were mounted side by side. That being said, this unit is a great way to get 180 coverage with a single POE connection rather than having to mount, align, configure, and record two separate cameras to try to achieve the same 180 degree result. - Camera supports ONVIF so it is compatible with nearly all NVRs and doesn’t lock you into one vendor’s system - Support is great. I have always received a response within 24 hours during the work week (note that support is in Asia). - Anpviz stands behind their products with a great warranty - Overall, incredible value and features! ... show more

Using PoE eliminates the need for a separate power source and avoids the instability of wireless connections. The picture quality is sharp, and the smart night vision works impressively well. This is a well made camera however, I could not get it to work. I have 10 IP cameras so I am not a novice but this cam was difficult to initialize and once it did, I was not able to get some of the functions to work. There are limited instructions included and their website is more of a promotional tool that lacks any real support.
