I really like the dark background with the gold hands. A white background would be hard to see. It looks very elegant and is easy to read without my glasses. I have had it for about three weeks and it keeps perfect time. I really do love it.

I like the watch but while at work i have to keep my hands on the desk / computer most of the day so the watch tends to turn backwards - leaning towards the desk. Maybe it's my wrist but I've never had this happen before.

I bought this for my mother, who asked for a "gold (not rose-gold) watch with either red face or highlights." At the time, I didn't realize she sent me looking for the Grail. After 12 months of looking, I saw this and ordered it, figuring it would be returned like all the others that "weren't quite what" she had in mind. This watch turned out to be a favorite.
