Modified placement
I placed this silicone upright in my center console to avoid any possible direct sunlight of any type, plus I added some silicone glue (I used black) to stick to the inside plastic box compartment and is working well! Thus, I suggest you try this two additional steps so it will not "fall off"/stick to your cars interior plastic/leather/PVC...etc. So this works very well now, and so 5 stars! Oh...and I agree the supplied sticky glue is a bit "wimpy" too!

Make sure surface is completely flat!
At first I stuck this on a part of my dashboard that had a dimpled texture, and it fell off within 2 days. I picked it up and re-stuck it to a part of my dashboard that was completely smooth, thinking that because it fell off it wouldn't be sticky anymore, but it's been there for 4 months and is still very sturdy! Goes to show that the adhesion is very strong if you put it on the correct type of surface.

Wouldn’t stick
Wouldn’t stick to any surface in the dash/radio/vent surface areas of my car. The sticky tabs aren’t much to write home about. Awesome concept. But I wasn’t about to attach it with super glue and ruin my car. I returned them.

Does not stick on all surfaces
I love the idea of these for my vape pen in car -- does not stick to any surface though inside that. Works great inside the house though so I do love them.

No bling
This item does not look like the picture. The "bling" in embedded in the rubber and not at all sparkly.
