I love these so much that I bought a second set because I found that two put together then wrapped around your waist is way more comfortable than wearing a weighted vest! I love using the extra weight on both ankles and waist for increased resistance when rebounding on my cellerciser and just doing kitchen duty, which for me is a huge bonus. I've been toning up faster than not using weights, that is tried, true and tested. I'm 65 and have a foot problem that makes wearing shoes difficult so going barefoot and exercising in the house is my game changer. Wearing these ankle weights makes moves like knee lifts, especially going up and down stairs, and certain yoga style movements feel completely different. I could barely walk when I hurt my lower back, the ankle weights slowed down my walk and gave me the workout I needed while recovering. I might add that I have practiced squatting, horse and bow stance for decades as part of my fitness and it paid huge dividends when I could barely get up or down from the bed or toilet.... now I'm doing them with these ankle weights.... no gym needed. Wearing the weighted belt made me pull in my stomach muscles and woke them up with little to no effort at all. I had two c-sections and those muscles fell asleep for decades! It feels soooo good to be able to take control of them again. I'm petite but I always seemed to have that post-menopausal middle and rebounding helped but when I couldn't rebound because of my injury, I found that these were more helpful than I can put into words. I'm mostly recovered now but I love the journey I started when I found these ankle weights. I'm excited to see my strength coming back to my former triathlete days with so much less effort! I had a bad herniated disc last year and was able to work my way out of it by major physical therapy, steroid and injections. My PT had me really focusing on core position and strengthening. It started me down a path of good strong work outs focused on this aspect. I have been wearing these ankle weights for about 9 months ( starting with light weight) almost everyday gym, running errands, around the house, work, etc.. When I walk with them, it allows me to slow down and focus on tight core and my entire body position. These are by far my favorite weights. I have bought in 2bl, 3bl and recently 5lb each. No long velcro strap to meticulously string through a small D-ring. Easy to find end, to grip, open and remove. They are comfortable and do not scratch or blister. Not huge and bulky. *The extra resistance to my workout has greatly improve my gym results on building core, leg and glute muscles. I have stomach muscles I never knew existed. I can't workout with out it now, feels too easy- plus I feel like a bad *ss. :-) SOO happy to have found these! ... show more

I use in shallow pool exercises and walking in soft sand. The best workout ever U use 5 lbs each on legs and 3 lbs each on my arms. In pool, on floor, on soft sand, and walking up and down hills slowly. Best inverter Ditch the gym membership just get these and use them
