This is used for things OTHER than connecting an extra monitor to your computer. This is NOT a display graphics adapter it will not find your monitor and the monitor will not detect any input. I will have to return this. I was unable to evaluate the picture quality, I was unable to assert the value for money and the quality of the material seemed up to standard. Overall I knew it may not work when I ordered it, I did so to try it and it would have been worth the try if it worked.
