  • Anker SOLIX PS400 Solar Panel with Adjustable Kickstand, 400W Foldable Portable Solar
Style: Anker 400W Solar Panel
I put these on two rails, then mounted them to my roof, kinda a test. They have passed for QUALITY, DURABILITY, FUNCTIONALITY, and price.

  • One of the best travel solar panels on the market
Style: Anker 200W Solar Panel
Not too heavy but easy to open up and set up. Wish the cable was longer to link to my power station but got the job done and within reason too. Charging the battery on a clear day and it charges between 150w to 175w. It was on a flash sale and it's very worth it. Will be taking this on my future camping trips now I'm going to be cooking more with electric appliances and charging camera equipment the material on the back is a nice material but I feel like it's a easy to get dirty. ... show more

  • These work well sunny day 3 of them produced 1030 watts- a 50 foot 10 awg wire run.
Style: Anker 400W Solar Panel
The only thing about these that’s a little disappointing is the snaps. They are nearly impossible to unsnap. I have 6 of these and get very good results. A little heavy and much easier to set up with 2 people, they do work well. Easy to store and the adjustments using a sunshine target spotter attached to them is all it takes to maximize PV. Counting line loss- I’m happy with the wattage results. ... show more

  • Love my Anker Solix Generator. Panels could use some changes. *UPDATED APR 8 2025
Style: 100W Solar Panel
*After a fantastic experience with Anker customer service, I'm updating this review from 3 stars to 4 stars as of April 8, 2025. Read the update at the bottom. These panels work acceptably, but I am pretty disappointed in their design overall. The good: These have good output. On a partly cloudy western Pennsylvania winter day, I can pull about 10-15 watts out of these panels, which is surprising given the low light availability. This, of course, won't charge your solar generator in any noticeable way (as the app estimates it will take over 4 days to charge only 10% of my Solix's capacity), and is likely barely enough to maintain the Solix's Wifi connection. But! On nice days with bright sun, these panels have cranked into the 90s. That WILL charge my Solix quite fast, as far as I'm concerned, although my model can take input up to 300W. Most days, my average output from this product is about 60-70W, and I'm satisfied with that, all things considered. The bad: This product has a medium-to-low value-for-money ratio. I believe there are other panels that would be very comparable for a lower price point. I love Anker, and I am typically willing to pay a slight premium for their proven quality, but given how I feel about the quality of these particular solar panels, I would likely suggest another brand. My biggest problem with this product is that it is flimsy. While it is made to be portable, and therefore as lightweight as they could likely achieve practically, I find that they have compromised the overall quality. The panels bend easily and mine already sit sort of malformed after only using them lightly (in my residential driveway) off-and-on for a couple of months. Think of a school art project... These panels are comparable to the "poster paper" that you can roll up; I feel they should be much more comparable to "poster board" which is NOT able to be rolled. Obviously, they need to fold for portability, but to strengthen the backboard would improve these products ten-fold. These panels fold in half, but there is no way to secure them. So, if you lean them on something, they can just pop open. I am using a velcro reusable "zip tie" to secure the handles together when not in use — something that could easily have been provided by Anker. There is also no form of cord storage, meaning the cord (even if you remove the Y-adapter for storage, which I don't bother to as it would waste too much time) just flops about. I also wish the kickstands were more durable. They work acceptably, and can be secured to the back of the panels by buttons so as to prevent them from flopping open. But, they could be designed a bit better so as to be more reliable. Overall, I recommend choosing another brand of solar panels for your portable solar needs. I'm sorry, Anker. *UPDATE: I now believe my original solar panel was defective. I contacted Anker via their website, providing my Amazon order number as proof-of-purchase. I simply asked, at first, how to CLEAN the solar panel, as it had gotten some bird poo on it accidentally and some light snow flakes. They explained how to basically gently wipe the surface of the panel with a nonabrasive cloth. I used tap water and a microfiber shop towel and wiped the original panel clean, but it did not perform much better. So, I replied to Anker support saying that I had cleaned it and it was still under-performing. Their next email was to ask if my shipping address was still the same as on the Amazon order, as they were simply going to SHIP ME A FREE REPLACEMENT. I didn't even ask or suggest a replacement, they simply offered it! I confirmed my address, and several days later, I received a brand new PS100 solar panel. The NEW panel is performing wonderfully! I have used it for roughly a month or so now, and it it working exactly as expected. On bright, clear days (especially as western Pennsylvania moves into Spring!) I am getting a good 85+ W out of this panel, and sometimes it has peaked over 90W. I maintain my stance on the design flaws. I wish there was a way to secure the cords coming off the panel such as a zippered pouch (as some competitor brands offer). And, the durability is somewhat disappointing as stated. Support was phenomenal — clear English and quick replies! ... show more

  • Big bulky, missing leg design, but free power
Style: Anker 400W Solar Panel
( 2 of these 35lbs. 400w panels (70lbs) and a 767 Powerhouse 70lbs. ) you can power any campsite. Have a gas generator too? Even more Day power. If you just need the solar panels for your set up, they seem like they just need to be mounted, but could be taken if needed. But they are heavy, bulky, nice build quality but I wouldn’t aim to be rough on them. Was getting peak sun/uv index and no clouds, good heat so with all that 2x 400w panels 275w from each. 550w. Obviously not the full 400w but still nice for free portable power ... show more

I bought the Solix 1000c. It works fine but was shipped without the solar connector that was supposed to be in the box. Called customer service and it was supposedly shipped out but still hasn't arrived after several days. Bought the Anker 200 watt solar panels. Plugged them up to 1000c. No charging from the panels despite full, direct sun. Called customer support. Now have to ship panels back before they will provide replacement. Very disappointed. ... show more
