  • An excellent portible power station that will meet my needs.
This power station works very well for everything I've used it for thus far, and though I've only had it for almost a day, I'm quite impressed with everything I've noted so far. The build quality of the power station seems solid. I haven't heard the slightest rattle or sound of anything loose inside the unit while moving it, and all the fans sound excellent. I was able to set it up with the app fairly easily, though I wish the Anker app itself was more accessible to screen reader use, since I cannot see what I'm doing, only hear. I appreciate the sound of relays when charging and when charging is complete, as well as one when the inverter is turned on and off. I'm able to use the app to review information that I need to know well enough, as well as modify settings such as AC charging input, which I've since lowered to 200 watts. I'm in no hurry to charge the battery under normal circumstances, and I'm hoping a lower charge rate will extend the life of the LiFePO4 battery inside the power station. I don't need 1000 watt charging all the time, and if I do, I can change it again. I was able to perform a test of my use case without any difficulties, which is to power a UPS that has everything I use on a daily basis plugged into it. This worked very well. As measured by the app, the battery began to output 180 watts on AC power before finally stabilizing around 155 watts a few minutes later. The app estimated the run time was 7 hours, 54 minutes at this much power use, but I could extend this even more by powering down equipment I don't need, and disconnecting the UPS itself, though it shouldn't draw too much power if its battery is charged. A few cons that don't effect the quality of the power station itself. 1. As stated before, the accessability of the Anker app with a screen reader has something to be desired. It may work very well for those who can see, but... Let's just say I'm glad I'm on an iPhone, because if I couldn't review some strange labels on images that show up as hints, the app wouldn't do me any good and I'd have to receive help from alternate services to gain readings from the display. Hopefully the developers can work on this and it can be made more accessible to screen reader use, not less, perhaps with real UI buttons and proper labels on them, and without these constant refreshes that make the screen reader return to the top of a page I'm on. 2. I would have liked to have some type of outlet covers or doors to go over the AC outlets and USB outputs when not in use. They could get a bit dusty inside if in an area prone to such a thing, especially if I was to use it outside. 3. A case designed for the F1500 would be nice, preferably one that can be rolled around while transporting it. It's moveable at 43 pounds, but it's on the edge of being awkward to maneuver, especially for longer distances than across a house or up and down stairs. 4. An expandable battery would be nice to have for this unit. Maybe one that can interface with the DC input on the back, I'd take that if Anker came out with such a thing. Granted, I wouldn't have integration like the C1000, F2000, and others have with their expantion batteries, but given the low power consumption of the power station when it's only connected to Bluetooth or Wi-fi, such a battery could easily connect to the app in that way if Anker came out with one. All in all, I'm glad I purchased this unit and I don't regret it in the least. Now I just need a power outage to test it in real world conditions... Or not. ... show more

  • Great bang for the buck when discounted.
Excellent device for dealing with power outages that last up to a day. Possibly longer with a solar panel. Here are some things I would have liked to know before purchasing... Inverter: Must be toggled on to use and toggled off when not in use. In my experience so far this has enough juice to run a 1800 watt rated refrigerator for about 12 hours. USB ports: No toggle switch for USB so its always on, charges up smaller devices quicker and more efficiently than using inverter and wall charger. However, USB only charges in one direction, meaning this device cannot itself be charged via USB or USBC. Car charger: Must be toggled on for use and off when not in use. Cables: Comes with XT60 to car charger wire. Comes with XT60 to XT60 wire for solar panels. Comes with wire for charging via AC plug. App: The mobile app is not needed for normal operation, but it is convenient for changing some internal settings like AC charging speed (in wattage) from the wall. Weight: Device is HEAVY. Put it on a cart with wheels if you need some mobility indoors. Solar: The recommended panels are Anker brand and use the XT60 connection, however other panels may work if you find and purchase a proper adapter. This device will not charge with solar and AC at the same time, if both are plugged in it will charge via AC only. Battery: When storing for a long time, battery should be kept at least around 50% for the best longevity. Instructions say to fully charge every 3 months. Grounding: All devices using a grounded plug will not truly be grounded devices unless the power station is plugged into a grounded wall outlet. Good luck, hope this helps. Edit: It may be possible to use a USB-C to XT60 cable or adapter to charge from a USB-C source but I haven't tried this. ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny
Worth every penny. A transformer in my neighborhood blew up and power was off for 2 days. I immediately put my fridge on the generator. The solar panels kept it charged.

  • Awesome unit and Great service! Thanks AnkerDirect!
Style: Anker SOLIX F1200+100W Solar Panel
I’m loving this unit and it’s super powerful and robus. So far it’s awesome! I researched portable power stations and watched videos on the web for weeks. The Solix F1200 (757) comes highly rated and recommended by many. I am a believer now! Everything sets up in minutes and it’s very intuitive. Great design language and superb industrial design and engineering. The quality is outstanding. I must say Anker customer service was/is amazing, super responsive and efficient! My unit came a couple days early but the solar panels were shipped separately. I did not know this at first and I spoke to Amazon customer service at first as I was concerned. They put me in touch directly with Anker who shipped the combo unit from their warehouse. My solar panels came the next day and communication was spot-on! I am survivor of 911 living in little Italy, NYC (terrorism), hurricane Wilma while living n S Florida (natural disaster) and remembering the Northeast blackout in 2004 (terrorism) and power outages from Nor’easters in CT (natural dissaster), I know what it’s like to be without water, electricity and communication for weeks and months. It’s no joke when you are not prepared. Today as a prepper, this Anker power station is the perfect addition. ... show more
