    • Great! But needs IT support to set up
I was going back and forth between a 4 and 5 star, but considering I have bought 3 of these Ankers, I decided to go with 5 stars. These Ankers work like a charm. Both the input and output sound is great quality, even from across the room. I use these with my virtual assistant. We have gone through a few microphone options and this one has been superior by far. The reason why I keep buying them is because they work so well. My only issue with the Ankers is they are super hard to set up. They will work when initially plugged in, but with subsequent uses there seem to be issues with the computer and also the computer programs being able to recognize it. I've had to have IT support help me set up all three Ankers I've purchased, which includes disabling any other sort of microphone connected to the computer and some other IT magic. ... show more

Clear microphone and speaker for running virtual meetings. Feedback from team on quality is outstanding. Recommend over more costly solutions I researched.

    • Good microphone, low volume
Got this for our meeting room because its rechargeable so we can move it around the room when needed. The biggest benefit to this speakerphone is the mic because it can pick up voices from 20 ft away and it is still clear audio to those on the call. The downside (very minor) is that the volume isnt THAT loud, but if everyone in the room is quiet and not talking over each other (this tends to happen a lot in our meetings) then the parties on the call get drowned out. This can all be mitigated by letting the participants in the room know to only speak when it is their turn. Connectivity is seamless and battery life is great. We were able to leave it unplugged for a 1.5hr call and it held charge no problem. Its nice that you can link multiple units together to really broaden the usage around the room. We may do this if everyone keeps talking over each other... ... show more

Purchased for work, works great, easy plug & play, allows colleagues on Zoom/Teams to hear everyone in the conference room speaking. Comes with everything you need plus a handy durable box that we keep the unit in with all the peripheral supplies for when a colleague checks it out of my office.     • Great alternative to headphones
I purchased this unit with the intention of replacing my headset. I work from home, dealing with a good amount of daily calls. However, I find headsets uncomfortable in general. Even the high end brands like Bose sound cancelling are annoying, causing my ears to sweat. So I opted to try this unit out. So far, so good. It works perfectly with my RingCentral work app. Calls come in clear and microphone works great. Having the unit continuously on during an 8 hr shift, leaves you with about 30% battery. So, I recharge it overnight. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for an alternative to headsets. ... show more

    • So close, but the one glaring bug destroys it all: Bugs with mute button sync
Sound quality is great. Build quality is great. Usability is great. Except for one thing, the mute button. It tries to sync with your computer, in my case an iPad Pro, but fails. I use Microsoft Teams, and Anker has added cool tech to try to sync with the mute button. It would be okay if it wasn’t there, or if it was and it worked, but the middle ground is the worst of all possible cases. The two devices start out in sync, but then gets out of sync, but then gets back in sync, and then out of sync, etc. I don’t know where to look to see if I could talk, as everytime I hit mute on either Teams or the Device, the device tries to sync and changes. It makes it impossible to use this device. If this bug is fixed I would love it and give it 5 stars, recommending it to all who work from home. I reached out to Anker, but they responded with a thank you and that’s it. So no luck. I’m taking it back. ... show more
