  • Excellent product, works just as described
Style: 10-in-1
This device is phenomenal. I picked it because I couldn't find any other KVM switch that would support switching between two laptops and charging both of them via USB C. This devices claims to do so and it does so perfectly. I actually live in the UK so had a friend collect this for me and bring to the UK. The transformer workshere perfectly (as is now almost standard, it supports both 110V and 220-240V) and I just needed to provide my own clover power cable. My set up is with a Surface Pro 8 and an HP Elitebook 840 G11 and there are no issues. Both devices charge perfectly - there are no warnings from the Surface Pro but the HP does throw up a notification to use a genuine HP charger. I have simply turned off that notification. In terms of time to switch device, the mouse takes about 4-5 seconds to become active when the switch is pressed whereas the HDMI monitor takes about 6-7 seconds to switch over. I am perfectly happy with this. I can also confirm that I have successfully added an Anker USB hub and a USB hub too without issue. Therefore, I also have a Kensington keyboard, HP laserjet printer, Logi Brio, Logi mouse, Jabra Speak 510 and Logitech H820e all connected without issue. All bar the printer are via the hubs ... show more

  • It works and it will save your neck and back !
Style: 10-in-1
This stuff works, and I absolutely love it. I work from home and keep work and personal stuff separate on different laptops. My work was connected to all the peripherals in an ergonomic way, while my personal one was just using on the side as needed. However, I was starting to get neck and back pain. I purchased this device, and I absolutely love how easy I can switch between my laptops with a touch of a button. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that although it says it comes with a USB-C cable, it did not, and I had to purchase it separately. ... show more

  • Good docking
Style: 12-in-1
Since I work remotely from home, I needed a docking system for my work PC and laptop. I chose Anker, my favorite brand, for its reliability. However, this time, the KVM docking system has some minor issues that left me slightly disappointed. I connected two monitors to both the PC and laptop. Whenever I switch between the two systems, one monitor goes dark. I have to manually turn the monitor’s power button off and on to reactivate it. Despite this, switching between the systems is seamless and straightforward.. ... show more

  • Does NOT work as intended. Just switch monitor inputs and get a USB switcher.
Style: 12-in-1
I am a relatively technologically capable individual. I did my research on KVM's and decided this was the best shot at getting one that worked and didn't cost me over $600 USD. My setup: Dell work laptop Older ASUS personal laptop 2 HP monitors with only HDMI inputs My goal was to be able to switch between laptops and USB inputs for both monitors in the push of a button. When I hooked up my monitors using an HDMI to DisplayPort cable, that monitor did not work. Fair is fair, as they said not to use those cables once in the description. So, I had someone bring over 2 monitors that had both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs just to see if I needed to get new monitors. The KVM worked perfectly on the HDMI out just as it had before, but the monitor that was hooked up with the DisplayPort cable would not recognize the proper resolution of the second monitor. I tried resetting drivers, updating drivers, contacting the support staff, and switching cables on the displays. Nothing worked. The resolution would never actually be recognized, and so I was left with black bars on the sides of the screen. I went to Reddit, of all places, to find that this KVM, even though stating it can handle it, could not properly show anything over a 30Hz refresh rate. At that point, this KVM would be more expensive than your monitors or you would notice the difference from dropping your PC settings. If you are not constantly having to switch back and forth between computers and just are trying to change things without having to unplug and move cables, stop overthinking it. Your monitor most likely has more than one input, just change the source on the monitor. To make sure your USB devices switch, there are USB switchers for pretty cheap on here, I got one from UGreen for $40, and it even has the remote switch. If you have to constantly switch between monitors throughout the day, this is not for you. The best option is going to be something that is at least going to set you back $600 or more. The only redeeming thing about this is that the switch included is magnetized. Still kinda useless if you don't have something metal to attach it to, but I did. So, yea. That's worth a star, I guess. ... show more

  • It works for two laptops but it's buggy
Style: 12-in-1
There are occasional disconnects, and it's laggy and buggy. Look for the wavlink version instead for the stability
