Boots are good for snow and provide good traction. After scraping the car, my man said his feet were warm and dry even after nearly an hour of tromping around in the snow. The fit and comfort are both very good and true to size. The weight is not too heavy and they seem very durable. I'm happy these boots do the job. Would love to see a woman's version! They are a bit hard/stiff, and not breathable because I think they're just plastic. Also, although they might be waterproof enough for shallow puddles, I wouldn't wear these when it's raining because the thin, unpadded tongue of the boots doe nothing to block water from drizzling in from above. With that said, the have enough cushion in the outsole, and enough grip too. The fit is narrow, so not super comfortable, but okay for short-term wear instead of long hikes.
